Enels top brass has long said they want to be carbon neutral by 2050, what's new. Impacil. LIES, ALL LIES. Investments all over the world on Coal. Read below $12 billion to be invested in Queensland. 22/5/2017 15:10 | BEWARE OF THE SHORTERS. These people in here are not looking after your interest, but to frustrate you and make your sell your investment in the company so they will benefit from shorting the shares. They are spreading bad rumours about the company. I am reading the comments and wait untill they cross the line and they will be reported and procecuted when they do so. The company is doing well and if you notice the directors have been buying shares, the revenue is increased, the dividend will be increased. DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE SHORTERS. for news announcenments see the company website. Coal is King and will remain King of Fuels till the end of days. | christh
22/5/2017 14:30 | Too many pink specs wearers here You guys are not going to see it coming till it hits you hard in your wallet Like I said coking coal to $150 within 3 months is my call based upon the charts Let us see how that is reflected in the APF share price | buywell3

22/5/2017 13:41 | No you got it wrong again. I hope the APF share price rises. But I just think it's good to post some news about the sector which is looking particularly bleak at the moment. Not encouraging when ENEL plans to shut down its worldwide fleet of coal-burning power stations. That's really bad news for the sector. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa

22/5/2017 13:29 | Oh, no, not the sticklebacks again, what have they done to you ? Never said you had influence old boy just wondered why you ramp Tesla on the APF board. To the bunkers everybody QP going to bash the coal industry. It seems you DO imagine you have influence after all. Well, maybe the sticklebacks are scared. C'est la guerre, what a clown. Do you think Trump will be cross with you ? | bolador

22/5/2017 13:15 | I am so glad that you think my blatant ramping of NASDAQ listed tesla on a tertiary unrelated bulletin board in the uk will be so influential. Tesla's market cap is $51billion and i am sure their fortune hangs on my every word. To make money you need to look to the future. Tesla Ten-out-ten. APF zero-out-of-ten. Ok. You wanted it. C'est la guerre. Now be a good little chap and off you go to catch some more sticklebacks in the local brook. Thanks to bolador, I shall now start posting more news about the coal sector which is in an appalling state. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
22/5/2017 13:06 | Nothing insipid about pointing out that your calculation on Mr Treger's time of service was incorrect. You always were and remain vulgar when caught in an inaccuracy. I do not know about the others but it seems the coal story is as old hat as is the Tesla story. To make money you need to look to the future. When I comment on APF I am looking to their future, for reasons explained, as you are when you ramp Tesla but you seem terribly hung up about the past of APF.Does not make much sense but then you are QP. The topic, QP, on the APF site is APF not Tesla, got that. We are duly warned about your view on the coal sector and you know what I think we will be able to take it.Last time I read those views APF were 55p. | bolador
22/5/2017 12:12 | 1. Mr Treger became CEO in October 2013 and that date was the date he joined the company. 2. Two transformative deals since then.Prior to that it took about two years to sort out the old business before rebuilding could begin. It will be interesting to see the state of the company when Treger has been CEO for five years. Any investor should be able to count. | bolador
22/5/2017 12:09 | Qp, back in full on basher mode....can u get her to 85p old chap. You certainly putting plenty effort in,LOL | neilyb675
22/5/2017 12:07 | Yes. But Mr. Treger arrived around Oct 2013 and the share price was around 220p. Now it is 115p 1. is that a good track record for any CEO over 3.75years? 2. please explain - why would any investor say that is "good going?" QP | quepassa
22/5/2017 11:52 | Perhaps an investor who bought in significantly below today's price? And has had the divis on top? | spectoacc
22/5/2017 11:20 | Interesting but curious post. The share price has collapsed from 300p to 115p over 5 years. 1. is that a good track record for any CEO? 2. please explain - why would any investor say that is "good going?" QP | quepassa
22/5/2017 11:17 | Not as important as Musk to Tesla, or Bezos to Amazon, but fair point - certainly some key man risk. | spectoacc
22/5/2017 11:14 | Treger is just about as important to the future of APF as coal. Good going so far even the most glum bear might admit. | bolador

22/5/2017 08:08 | Very interesting thread this, good comments from lots of posters. I generally agree with QP in that APF has probably had its day. More and more investors are moving away from carbon stocks and that matters for the investment case if APF is not going to get away from coal. You only have to see how lowly rated an excellent company like Shell is to realise that many large investors are now divesting of this sort of holding. | rcturner2 |
