With all the talk about AAZ being punished by the delayed TD news, is it possible that the intended punishment by the Aza gov is directed at the locals? The lack of mine income must be having a significant effect on the local economy.
Maybe AAZ will be well rewarded by the gov for the inconvenience, new NK mine perhaps?

Quick day trade on redx today. Took some more medicine as MEN continued its rise from 4p to 20p +
Sold two of my three AAZ trades into the rise.
Let’s see what next week brings.

There is no way the company would do that Master Investor. They have no involvement in when the decision about the TD is going to be made known.
Only the government have the power to release that news. To say the company has previous is not right .

More chance of the management announcing those two a day apart. Tank the share price with first rns so the people in the know can load up and then release the second rns. They have previous, and this is AIM remember.

yes cmb, but at least it would demonstrate to a lender that AAZ has the GOV/Pres onside and that there is a route back to production,,, hence, that would remove any funding questions allowing investors to simply focus on a timeline and future production potential when valuing the business, both now and in the future,,, where supposedly the market looks.. :-) ,,,, at least we should know where we stand on this next week,,, I hope :-) :-)

Crikey Wan, hope you're very wrong! Agree with MJ - Q1 production will of course be terrible, as will net cash / (debt) position at 31st March. AAZ need to try to find a positive nugget to include within that update, or as a separate RNS.

Wan' as I have said to you that I am in a similar boat as you regarding my portfolio with my investments in AAZ and have tried my best to look at the situation through all angles.
I still don't think the Azari's are after our mine. They would not have given permission for AAZ to start mining again if they were after the mine.
It is just how politicians can do things to suit both the locals and AAZ at the same time,hence my post above.
It would delay the mining process by quite a bit IMHO. I am just thinking what the solution would be that suits AAZ and the locals.

fwiw, my prediction,,, poor numbers as expected,,, TD wall raise still awaiting approval,,, market sniffs financial problems,,, share price falls back into the 30's....

now, let's see how wrong I can be :-) LOL :-)

I think that would enable AAZ to find funding and send a positive message that AZERGOV & President are back onside, hence share price may well rise on that scenario :-)

TD news is price sensitive, so must be reported to the market as soon as it happens, no ?

so, the chances of that permission being granted on the same day as Q1 update scheduled news is slim to nothing I would think ?

Hmmm' I don't want to sound negative but what if the Azari's say you can't increase the hight of this TD but you are welcome to construct another one away from this exsisting one !! Where does AAZ stand then? It would obviously put the fox among the chickens. Questions in my mind perhaps the wrong ones. I don't know really. I think we will find out shortly. GLA me including. :-)

It's not 'Results' that are due ... it's Q1 Production & Operations Update.

If this were left up to me, I'd put out two RNS at circa 7am on the same day

1 RNS for Production & Ops ... everyone knows it wont be so inspiring
1 RNS with confirmation that we can raise the TD wall and re-start Agitation/Flotation Production

The second RNS being so much more important, it would wholly obviate anything a few may still perceive as negative in the first RNS.

Obviously dependent on the TD News being +ve and arriving early next week.
