07/1/2021 15:14 | I was working for them up until Christmas, and believe me their infrastructure coped surprisingly well with some tweaks during the lockdown period, there was a exponential growth in bandwidth use. Virgin on the other hand, have severe network capacity issues in their backbone, anybody who has virgin will testify to that. Anyway BT's aims was to get to £8B EBITDA before restoring dividends, they were cutting staff and streamlining operations. The biggest thing is automation and orchestration where you can remove the role of 10 people for 1 and still do things 10 times quicker. BT have been laying off people left right and center. They cut all contractor daily rates by 20% (on a take it or leave basis). | katsy
07/1/2021 15:02 | Quite fascinating to see funny money hit $38,500 while real money seems unwanted. Is this all another South Sea bubble, or is the world really becoming owned by a handful of technocrats? | lefrene
07/1/2021 15:00 | Good luck with internet from by by bt ;) | jbe81

07/1/2021 14:35 | BT is continuing is recovery from £1 in early Nov now £1.46, I guess with so many people stuck at home and so many dependent on Internet | katsy
07/1/2021 14:20 | Mentioned RENE in 27977 on Dec 11th as they completed their 70p Placing Serial biotech entrepreneur Sir Chris Evans (Chiroscience, Celsis, amongst many others) is on the Board and invested £1m in the Placing Here's what I wrote in 27977 RENE worth a look completed £17.5m fund raise today Shares o/s : 57m Price : 80p Mkt Cap : c. £50m Cash : £20m EV : £30m Most know it as a Stem Cell play but on the side they've developed a promising niche in Exosomes Exosomes is a new area. CDAK Codiak a recent IPO in the area has a Market Cap of $300m. Chicken feed really but Goldman Sachs led the IPO. Why would GS lead the IPO of a small almost inconsequential Company ? I suspect they will use it as a vehicle for a lot of M&A going forward from which they'll earn fees on all sides of the transactions. RENE have 3 partnerships with un-named US bios and Pharmas in Exosomes. Expect preclinical data early next year and then deals with potentially big headline numbers. Since then their US Exosome comparator Codiak CDAK has moved to a Market Cap of $600m In yesterdays Analyst Conference Call Presentation RENE had a Slide on 'Multiple Valuation Inflection Points Over The Next 12 months' In the graphic you can see over the 'January 2021' period they expect 'Further Pharma Collaborations' I don't think a Company can scream it from the rooftops any more blatantly Chartwise a medium term downtrend looks like being broken The 200 day Moving Average is at c. 110p so could go as well News + Chart breakout could create an explosive mix RENE has previously done 30p to 300p 'in a flash' There are Analyst price targets of 177p, 300p, 400p etc out there | the stigologist
07/1/2021 14:13 | Interesting: 'It is also proposed to introduce a special preferential economic regime in the territories liberated from occupation to stimulate the economic activity,' the minister said. hxxps://menafn.com/1 | thistimemaybe
07/1/2021 13:06 | Thanks I think I looked at MODE thanks to you. Just got in before the rise. Nice to have some excitement with everything else testing my patience! | lottsgold
07/1/2021 13:02 | Blow me Jeanesy, I’ve just done the same, have you to thank for that. Good call, wish I’d had more but was struggling first thing to get a fill. | riggerbeautz
07/1/2021 12:33 | sbtx moving nicely | jbe81
07/1/2021 12:20 | @Brasso3 Kinenis is centralized and not blockchain. Look at hxxp://www.aurus.io. Jason Toussaint is on board there. Former WGC CEO and SPDR gold trust CEO. Pure decentralized blockchain play supported by huge industry names like StoneX and Brinks. | tatser
07/1/2021 12:17 | "far out", as much of the planet seems to wandered off into financial la la land, I suppose not. | lefrene
07/1/2021 12:17 | This looks like a bit of propaganda, but it does (1) sing the Zangilan region's praises when it comes to mineral wealth; and (2) give a photographic indication of just how much work might be needed to rejuvinate the area. hxxps://azertag.az/e And yes, it is a ludicrously long web address! Edit: and to show that the photos are of the actual area, it looks like photo 3 is taken from Azerbaijan, over the border to Kapan Airport. You can see the funny terminal building and the red roofed building behind that show up on Google maps. And photo 25 shows the same thing, but demonstrates how up to date the pics are. And here the funny raised roundabout in the photo could well be in the Zangilan village at 39.083910, 46.661222: hxxps://www.news.az/ So given where all the photos are being taken right now they must have cleared access to at least one of the mines... | thistimemaybe
07/1/2021 12:02 | Yep, i flagged clp here last week, big rise today | jbe81
07/1/2021 11:58 | Wow i went away for a few hours to do some work and house jobs to find MODE gone ballistic. Wasn't expecting such a surge so quickly. The crypto scene is certainly an exciting one atmo. I am glad some others joined the party here ! | jeanesy
07/1/2021 11:35 | Its not that far out there a concept to have underground resources on a blockchain system is it? | brasso3
07/1/2021 11:30 | Brasso3, thank you for the link, a pity they're not a listed company. Now all we have to do is persuade them that it's worth digitalising proven but unmined gold :¬) | lefrene
07/1/2021 11:14 | anybody here in sbtx? | jbe81
07/1/2021 11:13 | Well, we have a buyer today. Let's get another and break through 140 once and for all | donald pond
07/1/2021 11:12 | From just trading Blockchain and cryptocurrencies, it appears people want excitement, the thrill, the idea that a stock can multi bag in hours/days, rather than these stocks that are steady, paying dividends etc. All of us must feel the same when you buy a stock and it doubles in hours, etc.. but how many of these end up as very sharp spikes on a chart never to recover and we were unfortunate to buy the spike near the top. The real money is to be made on sound management (AAZ tick), dividend paying (AAZ Tick) limited downside (AAZ Tick) where you can build a very sizable position without losing sleep over it and with a little patience it will pay off your mortgage. | katsy
07/1/2021 10:56 | Ditto - I chucked £500 in each for 'fun' yday also - so some nice beer money gains so far :) cheers! | king suarez
