08/1/2021 16:23 | Noticed that earlier Matt. Seeing as we’re still at 6 and SING disappeared on the same day I assumed it was either some kinda deal or rebranding | jbravo2
08/1/2021 16:22 | The fashion definitely seems to be anything linked to crypto currency, I don't think I've seen a day like this when imo so much junk has jumped so far. | lefrene
08/1/2021 16:19 | MIRI worth a look, close to breaking out to aths | donald pond
08/1/2021 16:19 | I can't understand who would be selling AAZ at the moment. They are weeks ago from an update with a string of positive news, low P/E ratio, special divi etc. Is someone selling to buy bitcoin or to pay a large tax bill, who knows? As has been mentioned before, when the rebound comes it will be big. | odsjp
08/1/2021 16:18 | Bozzy, Well, I bought more earlier today. I am certain it will retest the double top at 175p. I am virtually certain that after briefly stalling around that level it will clear it. One has to buy when patience is wearing thin and sell when optimism is in abundance. | yasx
08/1/2021 16:17 | added 10k at 125 If folk are selling gold today to go chase Bitcoin or some other crypto currency, they are going to get roasted, imo. | mattjos
08/1/2021 16:14 | Conclusive evidence that trying to predict future movements based on charts is totally pointless. Everyone and everything was pointing to gold and AAZ moving up. Both moved strongly against that prediction. I'll stick to the fundamentals. I'll buy when the divi yield is high and the P/E low. Anything around £1.10 - £1.20 would be great. | bozzy_s
08/1/2021 15:56 | Cinoib, I recall reading somewhere a few weeks back that the amount of paper gold promised in futures contracts was something in the order of 400 times the amount of gold actually available. But whatever the true figure is, the amount of paper gold will far exceed the physical gold available. Thus in a real world the price of gold should rise to meet the demand, but plainly we have stepped into some sort of parallel world where realities are being thwarted. Well at least for now. | lefrene
08/1/2021 15:52 | New podcast, I don't mention AAZ, its in the doghouse. Must be my worst performer both in 2020 and YTD, c'mon board! | donald pond
08/1/2021 15:48 | $1850 needs to hold... | brasso3
08/1/2021 15:47 | Brasso … reaching $100k or whatever is not the end game. It's certainly possible in this melt up insane madness. The end game is it is ultimately exposed as the biggest Ponzi scheme in history and ends up virtually worthless. tick tock | onedayrodders
08/1/2021 15:47 | new MM? MARX | mattjos
08/1/2021 15:38 | the BTC doubters will be proved incorrect I am afraid. $100k is certain IMO. | brasso3
08/1/2021 15:36 | Gold and BTC seem to be forming an inverse relationship at the moment - you can see with a live price gold edges back up as BTC eases back down and vice-versa. I thought they were both supposed to be anti-inflationary stores of wealth? | king suarez
08/1/2021 15:36 | All central banks have there gold reserves, are they going to let crypto bitcoin takeover. I think not | muddy_40
08/1/2021 15:26 | Peeps would have to think very carefully before buying crypto stocks after such a steep rise, I wouldn’t be buying. My gold stocks apart it’s been an amazing start to the year this week. Oil and Gas moving up quickly on increasing prices, some pm’s moving up too.If only all weeks were like this one. AAZ as ever just very disappointing, it just hasn’t gone anywhere for an eternity and I’m not in it for the divi. Still hopeful though that one day it will surprise us. | fozzie
08/1/2021 15:22 | Thanks fozzie. Having had a ponder on the subject that advice was a real no brainer. And, just for clarity I don't support Liverpool. Am from the North West originally (there is another 'pool up there, for my sins) and I don't support Man Utd either, and if people from the NW don't support Manure....... :-) | upthepool
08/1/2021 15:18 | Outside of crypto it seems to be the previously unloved oil stocks that are finally seeing some gains - not seeing many pure gold miners flying right now? The miners that are gaining are copper and other metals (platinum etc). I am watching the charts of some of the US crypto miners - they are so in sync with the bitcoin price - jumping about in tandem with every minor move in the bitcoin price. Makes you think, if bitcoin has a big pull-back are they all going to bomb (temporarily) and then fly back up? Traders will love it.. | king suarez
08/1/2021 15:16 | Bill at Proactive on the 28th. Likely have to field some questions on the Conroy JV as it will then be 6 months since the HofT were announced. AAZ have taken up their first round of Options since then but, nothing else been telegraphed | mattjos
08/1/2021 15:14 | There must be a massive amount of money pouring out of all stocks and into crypto. Its snowballed into a feeding frenzy. Is this the new world order or will it crash? | saint in exile
08/1/2021 15:04 | indeed KS it would, also we're seeing gains all over right now and watching our AAZ investment doing absolutely nothing,,,, grrrrr :-) LOL,,, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
08/1/2021 15:02 | Incidentally I actually received that advice from a very senior partner of a major firm. | fozzie
08/1/2021 15:01 | UpthePool, I am happy that you are taking the advice of a Utd fan lol 😂 | fozzie
08/1/2021 14:58 | Anyone would think the Non-Farm Payrolls weren't awful and $2,000 cheques weren't on the way. | bonio10000 |
