W - have a look at both JSE and TXP also oilies I am in :) plenty of potential there - low debt, cashflow positive and both with production increase and exploration upsides paid for out of cash generation....

King Suarez2 Oct '18 - 20:26 - 495 of 25140
I will expect a beer if/when TXP and JSE make you some serious money ;)

wanobi2 Oct '18 - 20:36 - 496 of 25140 Edit
cheers KS, I'll hold you to that :-)
many thanks for the heads up to these, very much appreciated, cheers Wan
In fact ,,,,, I think I'll add a beer owed chart to the thread header when I get a chance to :-) You'll be on at least 3 pints, for AAZ, TXP, JSE........ I hope :-),,,,,, cheers Wan

I really should have done that beer chart LOL,,,

many, many thanx KS

Cheers
Wan :-)

You agreed to a beer on post 496 - I should have been a lawyer! Though we never agreed a share price, so perhaps not..

I think it was me that put you on to TXP too, Wan? Don't forget my beer! ;)

Would imagine/hope those old geologists have bought some shares in TXP at a low price?

I really hope PB is compensating handsomely that old 50's geologist they found who kept the previous drill results,,, he has, so far, transformed the COS of these drills in my book,,,, certainly, if I make 7 figures out of TXP I'd have to track him down myself and reward him,,, or a charity of his choice :-) Cheers Wan :-)

that sounds logical to me KS,,, if any oil experts wish to comment, please do :-) Cheers Wan :-)

True - there is obviously different blends of oil that range in density and viscosity and can be refined into different products and flow at different temperatures more easily. I always assumed that the lighter it is, the more valuable? (sweet crude) - the heavier stuff being more costly to extract and requiring more refinement?

and I guess it will depend upon the type of oil they find,,, or do we know what it would be already etc etc,,,, I am NO expert on this at all :-) LOL Cheers Wan :-)

Yes, I wonder how the market react if it is a sizeable oil find(s) instead of gas? Would still add value, but I haven't done the maths on oil v gas equivalent post tax value - a lot will depend on flow rates and size of course - and there is that potential revision of the SPT tax up to $75 per barrel instead of $50 on the radar, which would have a big impact..

Someone mentioned something about the associated liquids with the current Cascadura gas discovery being worth more than Brent price due to it being 'liquids rich gas' and more desirable, but I forget exactly what they said..

that said KS,,, it would be ironic if some of the coming drills turn out to be oil now and not gas,,,,, since they were originally looking for oil, or so they thought and ended up with gas for which there is a shortage on the island of T&T and T&T is a major exporter of the stuff and all that LOL LOL... which actually, now I say it, makes no sense at all LOL :-)

Cheers
Wan :-)

ohhh damn,,, you spoil sport KS LOL LOL LOL, mere semantics to me at those levels KS LOL LOL,,,, but, very pleased you pointed out another one of my school boy errors LOL,,, cheers Wan :-)

I think PB will go the whole Hogg on this one,,, he just strikes me as the new JR,,, he'll squeeze every drop out of his acreage,,,, but we shall see :-) LOL

must admit I had to fight the urge to buy more AAZ, TXP, 4D, JSE, AVCT etc etc today,,,, just feel we've got a long way to go,,,, but, I'm very happy to be wrong and see them all fly tomorrow :-),,, such is the nature of this game :-) GLA Cheers Wan :-)

RB - TXP is predominantly a gas play so far (at least the recent discoveries) with small oil production.

Wan - the note was in USD, not GBP, so $2bn market cap is 'only' £1.58bn - you need to buy a few more to be a millionaire ;)

I could see management selling out for somewhere between £2 and £3 if all goes well, but who knows - they might snub all advances and stick it out to drill all of the juicy targets over the next 5 years? Let's see how good the NGC contract turns out to be and what results the drills bring us in the next week or two..

AAZ - always behaves the same Rb, we know that :-) LOL,,,, just the slightest bias to the sell side and with very little volume down she goes big time LOL oh what a game Rb,,, oh what a game LOL,,,, GLA Holders, cheers Wan :-)

and, but, but, but, here's the important bit......

and vice versa.......... :-)

Cheers
Wan :-)

well KS, current MCAP = 138m at 75p,,, so, by my rough calcs that's

(2,000,000,000 / 138,000,000) = 14.49x

14.49 x 75p = 1086p - £10.86/share.... YIKES

blimey, just 100K shares = £1m worth............ :-) :-)

NOW, feet on the ground Wan,,, all drills would have to be successful etc etc etc :-)

Nice to dream though :-)

GLA Holders

Cheers
Wan :-)

TXP would tempt me but I promised myself to keep away from Oiler’s, so I’m resisting it.

AAZ you would think bad news is coming! Trailing stop that was quite wide just kicked me completely out of WM.t; fair enough I guess, why it was there, probably bounce tomorrow. Similarly I’ve cut and run ELY altogether for now. Will sit and watch a few now.... but quite happy with the remainder of my flock if AAZ gets a move on.
