Wan good call PXC, would love it to get to 40p.

Quiet on some boards, is that the old Quo song being played in the background, “down, down deeper and down”.

Hi bwana4, better late than never...

I have added you in for AMC with the price of 1.873 (opening price on Monday) and it is down very slightly. If you said SYME I would have said you would need to wait to next week as it is up some 28%.

Looks like it is going to be a rough week

Everyone running to the USD.

Always happens - then in a few weeks it reverses and PMs rise in line with the USD.

When the wider market starts to crumble I guess some people need cash to plug holes elsewhere, and you sell what's easiest to sell to get the cash you need.

A bleak start to the week for equities generally; miners, pm included being sold off along with most.
So guess AAZ flat is a kind of outperformance.

I'll put it down to +ve expectations for the coming newsflow, starting with the interims and divi announcement, likely any of the tu/w/th this week or maybe next.
The there's the Q3s due mid October.
In-between, the JORC update ought to finally land; ought not will.
Conroy [drilling] update also due.
There might even be something on PSA extensions [licence areas?].

Only 8 trading days left to end of Q3, so it may be the interims give some kind of a heads up on how those will turn out.
Surely taken into consideration when deciding on size of divi uplift....
Could even be a note on progress with the new access tunnel to the hg ores down-dip flanking main pit, though too early for anything wrt ores contents as such.
The Q3 report ought to provide a better opportunity for such a progress note, hopefully including something on the development ores production for Q4, given the progress with the excavations has all gone well.

TXP lookin strong this morning :-), I've often wondered if people do actually travel to places like T&T with a decent pair of binoculars and monitor progress in real time so to speak,,,, seems to make sense to me if one has a large amount of cash at stake, also to hang out in the local bars and so on to pick up on the gossip from the local workers etc etc..... sounds like a mission Wan :-) LOL,,, GLA, Cheers Wan :-)

A couple of interesting stories from my circle last few days that maybe of interest in a macro view.
My son told me at the weekend that a friend of his in his class at school had made £250 buying gold. He started with £250 so 100% profit how and when he did it is not clear, hopefully further details will emerge, however I wonder if this is a shoeshine boy moment.
Work colleague’s wife works at Waitrose he tells me that she has said that Waitrose have ‘cancelled Xmas’ in that they are not doing their traditional hiring surge. What lies behind that I don’t know but suggests Xmas could be a little different for the UK this year as retailers are not expecting the usual surge.

Bonio, happy to help out with research into political violence in the US:

hxxps://www.businessinsider.com/right-wing-extremists-kill-329-since-1994-antifa-killed-none-2020-7?r=US&IR=T

New research, based on almost 900 politically-motivated plots and murders in the US since 1994, found only one person's death in the last 25 years was linked to "antifa" or anti-fascists, and the person who died was the attacker.
In comparison, over that same period, 329 murders were linked to the far-right.
When the label was broadened from anti-fascists to left-wing violence, it found 21 victims had been killed since 2010, compared to 117 in right-wing violence in the same time period.
Jihadist groups were responsible for 95 people's deaths since 2010.
