Good Morning, Good Luck & best of Health to all, cheers Wan :-)

good posts guys,,, I tend towards the Rb approach,,, I know for sure if I were 100% in right now, or even worse (for me), leveraged,,, I'd be very anxious about the potential for a crash,,,, with only 50%-in I rest a lot easier with the thought that should my stocks fall by 50% I'll be down from the crash point 25% overall and have the funds ready to buy more of what I like at crazy prices,,, such as AAZ at 80p as per March...but, who knows, the market may just keep rising for many years yet with 10-20% corrections along the way... in which case I wont have made so much,,, but, I am happy with that :-) GLA Cheers Wan :-)

Gold at 1900 YIKES LOL :-) oh what a game :-) !!!

Morning, true dp, it’s all down to whether you sleep easy on your holdings, no point investing so much if it worries you though. Anyway sun just starting to burn off the morning mist here, breakfast and outdoors for me.

Contract win at ORPH as promised before month end CF does keep delivering...

This contract reinforces Venn's position as one of the leading providers of data-management, statistics and medical writing services to many of Europe's leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies, a service the Company has a strong track record or providing....

There's always talk of a crash but the SPX fell around 9.5% and then bounced back 1%. A ten per cent pullback happens all the time, unless you are a genius it's the price of admission to the market

Then listen to yourself and you won’t have to worry :) People tend to worry about crashes when they are too far in or over leveraged, never fear what you’re missing out on, there is always another day, better to fear what you might lose, as its harder to bounce back.

Lhoskins all depends if the fed want the orange man back in, in which case might make it through Christmas or the old doderer in which case, might not. All a game of paper shuffling, kicking the can down the road anyway. People should expect it anytime right now.

A few clouds on horizon for Russian miners... (from Kitco)Russia is considering raising mineral-extraction taxes on mining companies to narrow a budget deficit of 4 percent of GDP, reports Bloomberg. The Finance Ministry proposed more than tripling taxes for extracting most metal and fertilizers for next year. This is a threat to Russian mining companies and would increase costs.

$64,000 question Lh,,, I'm 50/50 on it,,, to me there's a fear that wall street starts aligning with main street which is not doing great,,, there seems to be a massive misalignment between the two,,,,, but who knows,,, certainly not me.....

Cheers Wan :-)

What are peoples thoughts on the chance of another market crash? Could it happen again this year? It all seemed to be doom and gloom over the weekend in the media and worse today.

AAZ - Typical down with the POG but we have not had any of the rise that others have had with the rises in POG . I am getting really fed up with this now !! There is no wonder people have been ditching however cheap we think it is. Good news is needed please ! maybe tmw ?

Not a good day to sell, but I had to reluctantly encash £26,000 worth of shares today, including 12750 shares here, I had no option to wait for a better price. I expect the price will boom now!
Still have just over 100,000 of these in my ISA though.

Wan whether it be luck or judgement, it was the right call. Been ignoring the market noise most of the day but would be happy to see more the same tomorrow myself. This is why you take some profit and build cash piles. Would be looking for short opportunities or other hedges if I had time but autumn approaching and outdoors taking priority right now :)

It won't matter in this market

The options are it is a drop due to rattling about lockdowns and will bounce soon enough.

or we are in for a torrid few weeks after which they need to pump in more money/stimulus (all the more if more lockdowns) and then PMs recover in good fashion.

Meanwhile AAZ still making approx a 200% gross margin on their product, and substantial cash building up in the bank.
