with the payment of this latest dividend that will be a total of 15c paid out by the company in under 2 years.

For all those shares that anyone here still holds from 12p and under (particularly if in either ISA or SIPP) .. the dividends received by end of July will have totally covered all your purchase costs.

That is pretty sensational, imo

many thanx pogue, I shall read those later tonight for sure, cheers Wan :-)

The current dramatic cuts in exploration and production will have a long-lasting impact on the global oil market, with oil prices spiking to above $68 a barrel in 2025, when there could be a supply deficit of 5 million barrels per day, Rystad Energy said this week.

One of the biggest oil companies in the world, BP, is not ruling out that the oil demand crash amid COVID-19 and perhaps the subsequent lasting change in people's lifestyle may have already brought about peak oil demand.

Absolutely GG.

IF a new mine is outlined before the 21st we could be there VERY quickly.

Couple of articles from an oil recruitment site email not very positive on the oil price either of them though the first one sounded bullish for a second but as pointed out by one poster below article 'If it takes till 2025 there will be no service companies left'

Gold hit $1,700 on the Hourly chart on 9th March and then retreated sharply all the way back to as low as $1,450 in the 'dash for liquidity' sell off.
By 13th April i was back over $1,700.

Since 18th April, the dips below $1,700 on the Hourly Gold chart have gradually become briefer and shallower on each occasion.
Bottoming on 1,659, 1,669, 1,682, 1,692 & 1698 this morning.

Have we now seen enough action below that $1,700 line to call it a new base level, from which to launch the next up leg & second attempt on $1,750 ?

@maxplus
It's in there. I read it too. Not going to look it up again. I knew we were getting 3% and wondered what it was now in a post only a few days ago. Think they're doing well to get anything over 1%

@goldrush
You got it! Easy to fund virtually anything even up to matching the size of what we've got.

Listened again to the 2nd 1/2 of the Proactive Video.

Tieing in with the very helpful posts by Matt and KS wrt to the PSA life, extension conditions etc, there was something Bill DIDN'T say which i thought maybe worthy of note; akin to the dog that didn't bark.

Bill spoke about new mines coming on stream and [in usual understated way] 'hoped' for production before "Existing mine life" ends.
He didn't say owt about PSA at all; no reference to expiry, renewal, extension.....anything.
So, perhaps he was being 'coy' but i think more likely he was, as usual, just saying it as it is.
Guess more light to be shed come the 21st.
Did you pick up on when he said the recent POG has been "Not bad" ?

Btw. he mentioned Ugur Deep along with Avshancli-Gilar as one of those new mine prospects being prioritised.
Just a detail worth noting.
Just maybe he meant they hope to get 1 or more of A-G producing before the current
open pit at Ugur is exhausted - wrt mine life comment above?
But guess i'm being a tad optimistic on that one.

I think there's much better than evens odds the share price will recover well past 130p during the lead up until the 21st May presentation release.
There will likely be a note on the latest cash injection and maybe $34-5mn in the bank.
The Hardman II take may catalyse a biggish move,
if perchance SPA don't dilute the +ve ambience.
Given their buy rating they may conceivably add to it.
