Looks like a good week for ASY, quite often they don't get a week like this all summer and certainly not in the first half. Hopefully, there'll be more hot weather in June although possibly not for a week or two. We shall see.

Not sure what the situation is regarding his son. Basically we don't know whether he is interested in taking over or not. The gaffer runs his luxury hotel business and each time a £5m divi is declared, he gates most of it! Still the possibility of declaring a special divi at anytime if he wants a bit more cash. I think it may get taken over eventually when he 'retires'. He is doing a good job building up the business though.

I like ASY as minority holders are not oppressed by restriction of dividends like say BPM and the divi is good. Given small size of free float and Murray's age - I suspect he has an interest in one or both of the trusts - what do you think will happen long term?

In view of the fact that the summer was totally unhelpful to them and the start of the winter also unhelpful, these are brilliant results. At some stage we are going to have a scorching summer or ice age winter which is going to produce some really excellent results.....maybe this year? Whatever, they are doing very well indeed and these shares are heading for £6 short term I would think.

Great to see investment in new technologies.

Big growth in revenues from £60 to £65m.

For ASY who are very conservative in their RNS announcements to give an outlook of "Cautiously Optimistic" sounds pretty upbeat and positive to me.
