Well I bought a tiny stake here...jeez how illiquid is this share, I bought less than 3000 shares in 4 slugs and the price popped. I like the company but gawd help anyone trying to sell in size.

I am not aware of anything negative.

I agree that sometimes the price gets dropped by the mm's as a way of them picking up stock.

ALL IMO. DYOR.

Similar dip seemed to happen last Feb, it's so illiquid a few thousand shares sold takes 10-20% off the company.

Added a few at 273p. Agree with keith - looks like bored people selling as the share price drifts.

I think it's just a few people looking at the chart, which is beginning to look a bit weak.

It does this every so often, I think the mm's get bored. Usually a good time to get some more. I'd get quite a few more at 250p if I could.

Stock price not too happy !
Yields 8% or so at this level if the divi is maintained or so I read.

Market in the stock is so thin but it does seem stock is mopped up as it comes on the market.

Time will tell

no advice intended etc.

Sounds to me as if he might have been one of those "pump and dump merchants".

Speaking to an area rep the other day (as a customer not as a shareholder so no inside info etc!) and he was saying the pumping side is doing very well as customers are going for pumps a lot earlier than they used to due to all of the publicity about storms and global warming. He didn't know much about other parts of the business but pumps are certainly doing well.

In 50% of cases, a major El Nino year like we just had, gives birth to a significant La Nina year.

La Nina is characterised by severe drought conditions in parts of the world!

Hope not but anything seems possible with the weather nowadays.

ALL IMO. DYOR.

Or maybe it is. Beginning to look pretty mild next week now, even at the end. Will post when I think there might be another cold spell or downpour.

OK, cold spells finishing Thurs/Fri. However, there are signs we could get into some sort of easterly flow later next week which could get quite cold. Maybe winter is not over yet.

I had my last quarter gas bill arrive ...my consumption compared to the same period last year was 19% less.
The mild weather certainly made a difference !

All models diverging, UK keepings things cold until and of next week and US getting milder by Monday. It'll be interesting to see which is right.

The cold spell will really kick in now. Very low night temps over the weekend. It was looking like milder stuff in from the west by Tuesday/Wednesday but some models are casting doubt on that now so there are the first signs that it may last next week which would be very good. Will update tomorrow and Friday. I expect to see some disruption from snow 'up north' the next day or so and temps down to -5 to -8C over some areas over the weekend, but to -15C or so over the headline grabbing highland areas! Whatever, it's going to be a bit chill.

Interesting to see that Sykes "Drying Packages" for homes rent for up to £200 per week or so.(had a look on the website)
Guess the drying process per home takes many weeks and the cost is hopefully covered by Insurance.

Quite a lot going on due the unusual weather

As ignoble says very cold in (Northern) Holland.

A help for the 2016 Dutch results.
