Doing very well indeed.

Up from 300p twelve months ago to c.550p now. Great performance. And well deserved.

A growing and internationally expanding business which just keeps on rewarding loyal and patient shareholders and whose prospects look, in my opinion, to be outstanding. Still good value.

Some impressive overseas contracts coming through. And a company with a very stable underlying business but which gets a major financial boost every so often when weather deviates from the norm as with last week's heat-wave.

ALL IMO. DYOR.

I see there is a note on the blog which is interesting. Didn't know they had a minimum hire period of 3 weeks. Good to hear.

How do you know they sold 92000? Yes ignoble, you don't get temps of 30 to 33 without ASY doing well. The first half is looking good as it has the currency advantage whch last years firs half didn't have and now a heatwave in june wich we have't had for many a year. Also the middle east cotracts annunced recently plus thrnew depots in england and itay plus the comment about good trade in italy. All looking ok.

Couple of new Middle East projects announced...Dubai one looks especially good:-

"Khansaheb Sykes has been awarded the Dewatering Sub Contractor for the upcoming construction of Dubai’s newest Clean Coal Power Plant. The project is expected to last almost 4 years.....

Due to the vast construction area, project has been split in smaller construction areas. Due to the depths of the excavations electric submersible dewatering pumps have been installed with operation being 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, construction areas are now completely dry and the contractors are progressing with the construction without any groundwater impediment or problems...."

Looks like a good week for ASY, quite often they don't get a week like this all summer and certainly not in the first half. Hopefully, there'll be more hot weather in June although possibly not for a week or two. We shall see.
