02/2/2017 14:34 | Less than 3k traded. You never know but it never takes much to move it so i would guess not. | shauney2
02/2/2017 14:13 | A few buyers today.New highs. | shauney2
25/1/2017 16:17 | Coldest day of the winter likely tomorrow, for most places anyway. Just out of interest, it's been very cold over Europe for quite while now which must be good for ASY. | keithfox
16/1/2017 10:46 | Wasn't getting at you, just the Met Office making us all scared of the weather. That business about the East coast flooding last week is a good case in point. The fact that there was hardly any flooding was good luck, according to the Met Office. No, it was just bad forecasting.....they got it wrong. | keithfox
16/1/2017 10:05 | ok. well that puts me in my place then. | quepassa
16/1/2017 09:49 | Very true. It's not really all that cold at all. I do find the met office really lays it on, it's as if they want to make their job interesting and up the profile of it. Boring weather is not good for them. | keithfox
13/1/2017 17:46 | Cold snap? What cold snap me ol mucker? There's a nip in the air but I've suffered worse! :) | fangorn2
13/1/2017 17:32 | I am guessing but Sykes' heating division and mobile/rental heating products must be in great demand due to the severe cold snap. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
12/1/2017 15:02 | That's a worrying thought ! | ignoble
12/1/2017 14:27 | Just for interest 1947 was the worst winter for 300 yrs and is on a par with 1963. Guess when it started? January 22nd. Snow every day until 17th March. So watch this space............... | keithfox
11/1/2017 14:31 | Tks Keith Mr Murray was born in February 1920 , I believe Amazing to think he will be 97 years of age this year What a life he has had ... | ignoble
11/1/2017 13:42 | Getting much colder over next 24hrs and we should have a countrywide cold spell for next week. so looking good for ASY. | keithfox
09/1/2017 19:04 | Now that is forward thinking Lol | ignoble
09/1/2017 18:01 | Have had a tip that we are in for a hot summer [UK] from my lrf source, don't know how much store I should set by this, just at the moment it sounds quite inviting. | blueliner
09/1/2017 14:02 | Belated Happy New Year Colder weather on the way at last but how long for ? Europe seems to be having a cold spell Snow in Italy and Greece. That, surely , is unusual | ignoble
28/11/2016 12:55 | I bought 3 years ago for yield and possible break-up/sale so share price moving up is a bonus. | bscuit
28/11/2016 11:54 | It's also approaching a market cap of £200m which should see it come into view more I would think. | keithfox
28/11/2016 11:43 | This stock continues to trade on a very attractive yield. Historic yield is 23.8p divide by mid price of 425p = 5.6%. On the basis of good trading, there is no reason in my view why this stock shouldn't trade on a lower yield of say 4% as it is a growth stock. That would give a fair value share price of around 600p. Of course, any increasing dividend would further support the share price. The market currently values ASY mainly on yield in my view ( like you would a utility stock perhaps) but in many ways it is more of a family-run growth stock business in my view. Little is factored in for the growth prospects of the Company and ASY's increasing international expansion and build-out of depots. Growth stocks generally trade on lower yields and the shareholder return is partly made through capital uplift in share price. Apart from the illiquidity of the share (a very common issue on many tightly-held AIM companies), personally I see value nearer 600p. This stock is off the general radar. - Nothing wrong with that but if a few more Private Investors do the research and wake up to the merits of ASY, this could move forward quite a bit in my view. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
28/11/2016 11:34 | Double or quits ? | ignoble
28/11/2016 11:33 | OK, give me $64,000 and I'll tell you. | keithfox
28/11/2016 11:27 | The $64,000 question ! | ignoble
28/11/2016 11:05 | Yes, must be very short of stock. So, what's the 'right' price for these shares now? Any ideas? I think the second half is going to be good but we don't know about the winter yet. The jet stream is definitely very wonky at the moment and looks like it will be for another 2 to 4 weeks, but what happens after that? | keithfox
28/11/2016 10:12 | Hitting new all time highs over last few sessions. Today's offer price of 440p marks a big leap in share price. As always, ASY stock in short supply. Fingers crossed that things continue like this but trading looks to be very encouraging on many fronts. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
25/11/2016 16:31 | yup, another one of those days. | keithfox |
