On the day of the 9-11 attacks, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was asked what the attack would mean for US-Israeli relations. His quick reply was: "It's very good.......Well, it's not good, but it will generate immediate sympathy (for Israel)"

An absolute classic....

Live on BBC1 today, on Grandstand, about 10 minutes before the Grand National, Sue Barker (or was it Claire Balding?) was in the paddock interviewing one of the trainers, and standing a couple of feet behind said trainer was a certain young man, holding up a sheet of A4 paper, that bore the following legend in thick black marker pen:

HOOT
SAYS
BUY CORAC

This was visible for a good 30 seconds!

( With thanks from Fatomuch on the CRA thread)

Royal Auclair now 40-1. Not much been said about him today.
Going is not as soft as some expected. He likes good ground.
Still has to be a good e/w

hedgehunter wont stay imho!

That 2.5mil theory dont hold anymore coz the fences are easier so they go a true gallop!

Hedgehunter comes to the race in good form.

But how about Fondmort? Two and a half mile horses have won the race before. He's normally a good jumper and also in form. 50/1 got to be worth £1 e/w.

Morning Folks,

Have had a look and there are a number of long priced horses I fancy today,so I have just listed them:-

2:50 Aintree - The Market Man
5:30 Aintree - Rimsky
3:25 Hereford - Paxford Jack
5:15 Hereford - Brisbane Road
3:40 Lingfield - Bahiano
4:30 Lingfield - Gaudalpin
2:10 Newcastle - Torrid Kentavr
2:45 Newcastle - Hope Sound

They should all be greater than 10/1. I think today I will just watch and not bet. On days like today I find it too confusing.
