20/1/2015 09:57 | FWIW I do hold a small amount of shares in AFR in the hope that there might be a premium worthwhile from Seplat, either way I think 20p is the downside risk for the next few weeks | ngms27
20/1/2015 09:31 | Well, looks like your research then was more accurate than now :) Good luck anyway | bhoytrader
20/1/2015 09:26 | I see you don't address the fact your post was based on incorrect information. And you appear not to realise that Afren have achieved pioneer status on EBOK until mid 2016. As for the debt, well yes they have debt. But surely you need to look at the structure and duration before making a judgement? Seplat just refinance and extended their debt to over a billion with option for more - so the debt markets are still open should afren need to deal. Yes they'll pay more than today (Seplat got LIBOR + 8.5) No point in cary on an Afren debate on here - happy enough to on the Afren thread but it's infected with nutters at the moment. | bhoytrader
20/1/2015 09:15 | Yeah and they don't have a $1 billion debt and took out another $100m plus at Libor plus 7.5% EBOK is past cost recovery so cash flow will now start to get interesting | ngms27
20/1/2015 09:04 | I can also post their likely rev figs for 2015 (including ACTUAL hedges) if you like | bhoytrader
19/1/2015 20:19 | Spring must be round the corner. The Kimmeridge Cuckoo is singing already. Yet more evidence of global warming I fear. I suspect methane | skinwalker
19/1/2015 16:41 | and that's if oil is at $47 all 2015 | bhoytrader
19/1/2015 16:40 | Hahaha, losing money hand over fist! You know they are hedged and will do around $700m next year in revenue don't you? | bhoytrader
19/1/2015 16:36 | 70p per share now that really has made me laugh. A merger of equals is more likely with paper based on current share prices or a small premium for Afren given the state they are in losing money hand over fist. | ngms27
19/1/2015 15:59 | gerry, 'they have written' or 'they have wroted'(present perfect),alternative | jacks13
