I am starting a rumour that the GSA will be announced tomorrow. Has anyone heard any more info on this? Looks like tomorrow could be huge.

For anyone interested in the Cove story, this is an excellent interview with two of its founders, hosted by McKinsey. It also touches on many of the issues facing small E&P companies like ours.

"CPRs generally take several months to prepare."

True, but we have had the data and Mr Andre in place for 10 months now

The CPR has to follow on from the seismic interpretation, that's only been completed this autumn (and may still be ongoing for all I know). And has to be prepared by someone independent of the company - so not by the explo advisor, whose job is the seismic interpretation that precedes the CPR.

Nerdo, you're panicking over nothing. NR reportedly said as recently as the 26th November that: "Things are moving quite quickly so we should have news soon."

nerds....haven't you figured out yet that these guys only perceive themselves to be obliged to look after themselves..........? despite the imo appalling record, their remuneration committee doesn't appear to have an issue with their fees/salaries.........oh I forgot, they have their snouts in the same trough......

I would like the Company to explain to Investors via an RNS where the GSA and CPR is

The Company has failed to deliver both in the timesacles promised and have therefore either mislead Investors or made errors.

Either way, and even if the delays to the GSA are down to Tanzanian politics I think the Company should tell us.

The Company has an OBLIGATION to keep Investors informed and they do not appear to be doing that at the moment.

Yes, a bit like the apparent non-appearance of the GSA.

Bun.....are you suggesting that it is all a consöiracy to weaken the AEX share price?

It just sounds like legitimate business people receiving well earned bonuses for consultancy work. I believe all this talk of bribes and graft is simply a ruse to lower the Aminex share price. NOT FALLING FOR IT HASHTAG!

The size of the alleged bribes gets bigger, but these accused are still no more than bit players in the escrow money saga:

While our heavily targeted and under a cloud Energy Minister appears to have at least one friend spinning for him:

Given the AEX history and reputation for vastly over-promising and massively under-delivering, hopefully,if and when the CPR does arrive, it plays down rather than ramps up expectations.

Putting into the public domain last September figures like 1.9tcf for Ntorya and 2.3 tcf for Ntorya/Likonde combined, seemed to me plain daft. If they'd said that the new seismic had underpinned an uprating to, say, 1.4 and 1.8 tcf, it would still have got a big "hurray" from investors and if (and what a huge IF that is!) the drill(s) then came in at 2 tcf it would be an even bigger "hurray" along with a "blimey, fancy Aminex beating expectations!"

As it is now though, that magnificent 2 tcf would get a much lesser "hurray" and be accompanied by quite justifiable comments along the lines of "same old, same old - Aminex once again fails to live up to the expectations it generated."

I would have expected much better news management from the Yellers, but I guess it's at least possible, if not probable, that they were not even consulted.

"CPRs generally take several months to prepare."

True, but we have had the data and Mr Andre in place for 10 months now

I would have thought that is long enough to produce a CPR

It could then be updated later with Egypt results etc
