17/1/2015 09:48 | There is a sign behind my local pub bat whic says "free beer tomorrow" It could be a slogan that applies to my small Oil and Gas Explorers, especially now many of them have uneconomic Projects that will either put them out of business or force them into a cheap firesale IF Aminex ever get their GSA and IF they get income from the U.S. Asse and IF they ever sell Moldovian assets and IF we ever see a CPR then hopefully this scenario won't apply but whilst Iam an Investor in the Company, I remain sceptical on their ability to execute and deliver. Why no CPR yet? People say, ah, well, Egypt loggs need to be factored in. Why not release a CPR NOW then release an updated one with Egypt results later? Bernard Andre has been with the Company for 9 months now, what is he doing? | nerdofsteel
17/1/2015 01:33 | No. In the main we're fed nonsense. As far as humour goes, I think its essential. Whats the point otherwise? Whats the alternative? Spudding, GSAs, CPRs, hopeless opinions of those who don't know onions from opinions? Desperate hopes of those who've lost loads. Attempts to salvage some credibility from investments that have gone wrong. We're all here desperately hoping that some miraculous event will transform this pathetic little investment into something that will enable us to get most of our dosh back. Unlikely I fear! | skinwalker
16/1/2015 19:57 | Strange that the Nov 18 IMS states that South Malak "has commenced drilling", yet the Dec 18 Corporate presentation states "South Malak well to be spud in due course". Am I just being thick or is this a complete contradiction? If so, a correction should be issued. | vike1
16/1/2015 14:43 | "This thread is for serious investors. A lot of us who bought through 2014 have made a lot of money and we use this thread to glean useful info NOT FOR COMIC RELIEF." Yes, well said again BunBooster, how many times do so called investors need to be reminded and congratulations on your 2014 trading profits, I hope this year is as sucessful if not more sucessful than last years sucess. There's a time and a place for good humour and this certainly isn't it. | gerryjames
16/1/2015 13:24 | I wonder how the Egypt well is doing, its been drilling for at lest 2 Months now 18/11/2014 Interim Management Statement - Q3 2014 EGYPT "The operator of the West Esh el Mellaha-2 PSC ('WEEM-2') has successfully negotiated an extension to the First Extension period and a progress report will be issued as developments occur. Aminex has been notified by the operator that the South Malak 2 well has commenced drilling and that the Wadi Kofra 1 location is now being prepared. As the Company has a 10% effective interest in this PSC, free-carried through to first commercial production, it has no operational control over the licence and receives information only when the operator provides it". | blackgold00

16/1/2015 09:17 | ngms/skin You gotta laugh I suppose (like the "entyrely"!) | lfdkmp
16/1/2015 09:10 | LFD... I haven't heard that rumour, but its entyrely (!) plausible. What is apparently fact is that Aminex are going into the care home business for exasperated and suicidal shareholders. The more cynical amongst us are suggesting this has been the plan all along. They never had any intention of winning oil or gas. As always though, they've fukced up - whilst there are no shortage of clients, we're all broke and can't afford the fees. | skinwalker
16/1/2015 08:23 | They can use the condensate for lubricating bicycles... The gas can be used to inflate the tyres | ngms27
16/1/2015 07:18 | ......Also heard that there is an intention to supply bicycles to all citizens between the ages of 18 and 25, the so called “laterally mobile” section of society. Apparently any oil discovered in Ruvuma can be used to lubricate the chains and pedals. | lfdkmp
16/1/2015 07:09 | Is there any truth in the rumour that Aminex is changing its status from a plc to a charity and that gas will be supplied free of charge in Tanzania? | lfdkmp
15/1/2015 21:24 | Misprint in US Sheriff's office... "In DOG we Trust" He can only be an Aminex fan and shareholder...! | skinwalker
15/1/2015 13:31 | yep.....wonder whether this is going to drop back to my re-entry point in the meantime..... | thecynical1

15/1/2015 12:52 | What does a GSA look like? Sorry, ......wrong thread :-( | lfdkmp
15/1/2015 12:31 | While the two bishops might have got around $24k and $46k from Mr Rugemalira, these are bigger fish, at $190k and $95k, but are still by no means major players in the escrow money saga: As to relevance to Aminex, if the money ($100m +) removed from the escrow account was indeed Tanzanian public money then it was largely money due to Tanesco and we know from all the Orca difficulties just how difficult it is to get Tanesco to meet its obligations given their already extensive indebtedness. For KN-1 gas AEX will get payment from TPDC who will then, post processing, be selling on to Tanesco? or will it be to the independent power plants who will in turn be invoicing Tanesco? Certainly, whichever it is, those GSA payment guarantees look nearly as important as the actual price. | warbaby43
13/1/2015 22:29 | Hello Gerry surely I'm not rude enough for a seat on that board...? Apologies BunBooster x Anyway, I suspect its a DOG-sized hole | skinwalker
13/1/2015 16:25 | nerd.....buy the rumour.....sell the fact......... : ) | thecynical1 |
