Like this? But doesn't appear to create a link like yours - no wonder I've got high blood pressure!!

Sorry folks, when it comes to computers I'm ignorant. When I see something like the Citizen story and I right click it lets me copy the http etc but how do I get from there to creating a link such as created by Pensioner2 and now El1te.

Once again, thanks in anticipation of some basic PC tuition.

WB - The other work around for posting a hyperlinked link is to simply capitalise one of the letters in http. I believe the move was to prevent spamming of links by third parties

E.g.

It's not you warbaby. It's ADVFN. They won't let blacks post links so it x's out the t's. A blue can re-post in full. Childish really.

Pensioner2, I am something of a technophobe but if you tell me how to do a http link such as you have produced, I will happily provide that in future instead of my hxxp cut and paste job.

My thanks in anticipation.

I love the fact we have a new resident basher here and also on the Solo Board - Dan_The_Epic

This is such an incredible Green Flag - seen it all before - people desperately trying to talk a Company down that is just about to blow, and naively thinking they can have an impact on sentiment and utimately the share price

El1te @ 50897, thanks for the Morningstar link to the Prospectus - much appreciated.

While on Morningstar I noted that the Standard Life mystery continues - still listed there with 85m = 4.5% and more than Majedie, while no mention again on p4 of the latest presentation. It's been many months since they reduced from 7%+.

Dan since you reappeared here on about the 13th Dec, the share price has risen from 1.7 to 2.7 you are not doing your job well enough you know. you are a sure sign of good things to come.

they'll survive Dan, NORTHCOTE paid diddly squat for it and it is a conventional play not a high cost tight oil/gas fracking play, it just needed a bit of local expertise and commitment.

Can Northcote afford to stop producing, bearing in mind they have already spent money on the well? Possibly, if their ongoing production costs exceed the revenue they will get for each barrel. My IQ was last tested with a result of 4, not 2!!

blackgold00, while that "together with" looks pretty convincing to me, it is possible, though I think unlikely, that they have got TPDC to accept Ntorya-2 as a qualifying explo well. Perhaps, though, the definitive answer would come if one of the friends of the management included the question in their next communication with them - is it 4 inclusive or 4 + 1.

On the matter of appraisal wells, though, can I ask you for your interpretation of the second para of the RNS of 11th September. I still find it somewhat ambiguous - are we now talking about two Ntorya appraisal wells or just one with Ntorya-2 alone intersecting the cretaceous and the extension of the Lower Tertiary as seems to be the case from the Presentation isopach illustrations. If it is two then back-to-backing the drills for around $16/17m is where we are in financially and it would also seem highly likely that TPDC would accept Ntorya-3/Likonde-2 as qualifying towards the four wells by December 2016.

EVERYONE EXCEPT NGMS HAS AN IQ of 2 HERE

ITS NOT A GOOD DEAL YOU PLONKER. IT MAKES NORTHCOTE BREAKEVEN HIGHER AND THEY WILL STOP PRODUCING

EQUALS NOTHING FOR PLANKINEX> NORTHCOTE MAKING A LOSS AT THIS LEVEL IMO. PLONKCOTE SHARE PRICE TANKING. WORTH £3.4M NOW.

HEADING FOR THE BIN. IDIOTS THINKING THIS IS A GOOD DEAL,

just been over LSE and read, it is $10 per barrel not 10% of oil sold, so that looks a very good deal for Aminex at todays price.

MORE LIKE A COMPLETELY STUPID POINT

TO GET 4.5 MILLION NEEDS 450 THOUSAND BARRELS TO BE SOLD AT A PROFIT. IGNORING THAT THE OIL PRICE IS PLUMMETING LIKE YOUR COMMON SENSE AND THERE AINT MUCH IF ANY PROFIT

AT 100 BARRELS PER DAY THAT IS 4500 DAYS OR OVER 12 YEARS TO GET A MEASLY 4.5 MILLION.

PULL THE OTHER ONE.

someone on LSE raised a good point this morning in that we have another income stream startibg now as a result of our U.S. asset disposal:-

"Production payment from US asset sale to Northcote of US$10 per barrel until a total of US$4,500,000 has been recovered with first payments to commence from 1 January 2015 - (Aminex RNS Tue, 17th Jun 2014.)"

ngms27, I am becoming disappointed in you, they have until end of 2016 to fulfil the obligation, and would not the same apply to the % share of KN that Solo are acquiring. plus thy do not lose KN, it is 5 % per well but as each well is drilled security over the Kiliwani North is reduced. I read 5% per well somewhere but I know not where at the moment.

"the Company has granted TPDC (Tanzanian Petroleum Development Corporation) and the Government certain securities over Kiliwani North Development Licence on a sliding scale basis. As each of the wells is drilled the security reduces and when all four wells are drilled the Government and TPDC will no longer have any further security over the Kiliwani North Development Licence."

So unless they drill Ruvuma they lose KN-1 Perhaps this explains why there is no GSA yet, the Govt want to see movement on Ruvuma?Maybe even AEX won't get 100% of there entitlement from gas sales until they have fully met Ruvuma requirements?

LT - just counterbalancing!

If I was wholly negative I wouldn't be here sitting on a good few million, albeit now at an altogether more comfortable 2.16p.

They are, however, still between the rock of no money and the hard places of deadlines for drills and necessity for a load of seismic.

While we all cross our fingers and everything else that there will be no Kiliwani hiccups and that some cashflow will follow (place your bets now on how much) I do not share your confidence "for HUGE Reserve-Based-Lending once the CPR has been promulgated."

What they need above all else is to be able to access sufficient funds to drill Ntorya-2 and if that can then anywhere near confirm their expectations, then the larger funding problem for the other commitments should be largely eased.

Like you and everyone else, I guess, I am hoping and trusting that they have a plan and that such a plan is surviving the industry convulsions. My bet more than ever now is still on some form of corporate activity possibly accompanied by a further placing.

Just a pity that their history is such that it is, then there would not be so many doubts.
