09/8/2019 12:19 | Today is the first time in my life I used the filter button..... | fatgreek
09/8/2019 11:42 | Coverage in IC: Amerisur Resources (AMER) has gone to the next stage of its sales process, announcing it had signed up “multiple parties” to confidentiality agreements so they can dig in to the company’s books. Last month, the Colombia-focused oil and gas producer told investors there was enough buyout interest to put up a sale sign officially. Amerisur shut down a 17p per share offer from Maurel & Prom, an arm of Indonesian state player Pertamina. It is now trading at 19p. | pauliewonder
09/8/2019 11:27 | treasure - in fact, I have immediately posted as soon as the OBA output improved and wished that now we are on the right track. Unfortunately, it didn't last long because yesterday it fell again from 5,013 to 4,207 bopd! I think that, as another poster on this BB posted, we had encountered some problems with one of the well and reduced production for 10 days (from 26 July till 4 August) until repair works were carried out. In the meantime, our daily production for July decreased to less than that of June! For August, we are now running substantially lower again at just 2,905 bopd! We are still early in the month but how much will we have to pump in the remaining days to increase our daily output to more than June's c. 4,302 bopd (July's was 3,867 bopd). Unlike some posters say over here, I am a shareholder for just over a year with an average price of 15p and I wish we can get the high prices that they are suggesting. I have never sold 1 share to date but I feel betrayed by our BOD since when I invested, I went through some of their interviews and they really promised a lot. What frustrates me however is our BOD continual under-performance. How come that we are still playing with c. 4,000 bopd from our OBA when we have had the capacity and permit to export 9,000 bopd for several months? Why haven't we started exporting third party oil through the OBA when the first trucks arrived at the beginning of May? I hate being lied to by my Board and lose faith in them when they continuously promise but under-deliver. | sji
09/8/2019 11:03 | sji, you posted a number of times regarding your worries about the OBA. The last 3 days show between 4200 to 5000 bopd. Are you still worried, and do you have any conclusion now as to why it dropped. I believe it was the guv taking there dibs. | treasure
09/8/2019 11:01 | Do Co's get access tothe Data room for free or is there a charge? £1 by xmas | moneylender
09/8/2019 11:00 | If only!. I think take out price will be around 30p unless it gets nasty lets hope so good luck to all Lths. | bryet
09/8/2019 11:00 | Soooo... you're a company operating in Colombia, or looking to get involved & a company with a not insignificant interest in Colombia offers to make available its production records, seismic & geological work to you for free.... & you can chat to that company's management about all this data. Anybody surprised that "multiple parties" have taken up this offer? | thegreatgeraldo
09/8/2019 10:53 | I suspect "multiple interested parties" will look past the unrisked valuation and view our assets more in terms of value added to their existing operations - the transport savings alone to OXY are collossal. I'd still be happy with 38p as a profitable outcome, but if Indico delivers and JW can demonstrate that the OBA dial isn't stuck at 5k by starting to shift some 3rd party product you can add the 24p to my 38p. | lucyp00p
09/8/2019 10:51 | We only need one knockout offer. £1 by Xmas | moneylender
09/8/2019 10:42 | The oil price was heading towards $200 back then and I bought some at 64, and so, to my eternal regret, did Mrs. Poop. True the assets are better now, but in 2014, we had hope that the OBA would be the game changer it should have been. The current share price reflects 5 years of disappointment. | lucyp00p
09/8/2019 10:36 | Shareholders would do well to remember: "Back in 2014, the stock traded as high as 64.50p." Assets are better than ever including strategically important OBA, cash rich, no debt and the main reason the share price languishes even at today's rate is from a dedicated and concerted seller. All the comments about 24p 34p 38p are academic to me. Every one of those prices would meet my rejection. | foiledagain
09/8/2019 10:33 | I think I may have said that once...:-)Would settle for Lucy's 38p now | juuunx2
09/8/2019 10:31 | Which one? | lucyp00p
09/8/2019 10:23 | hxxps://oilprice.com The prediction echoed that of Goldman Sachs, which said that the poor results from Concho Resources regarding well density could be a harbinger of broader problems with the future of shale. Concho’s “unfavorable spacing tests and lower than forecast capital efficiency raise justifiable questions whether we are further down the path to when shale no longer becomes as relevant a driver of global supply growth,” the investment bank said in a note to clients. | ashkv

09/8/2019 10:12 | It's coming. | momentum1
09/8/2019 10:09 | First point of resistance is at 20p, but I expect the price to blast through that on its way to much higher levels. £1 by Xmas! | moneylender
09/8/2019 10:09 | Would be nice to finally breach 20p | fatgreek
09/8/2019 10:04 | Looks like we are moving. Difference between the previous statements and that of today is that parties being "interested" could mean anything. There is no level of commitment and no financial cost with being "interested". Signing a confidentially agreement and doing DD requires time and resources for both the acquirer and the firm being acquired. | pauliewonder
09/8/2019 10:02 | I personally don’t believe sji is a share holder just an antagonist who probably missed the boat when the share price moved. You would have to be an idiot to talk down your own investment when a company sale is in progress. This poster can’t be for real. | dayway123 |
