FoiledAgain.....Your correct, they are certainly not poor. The remuneration, we the shareholders award them, makes sure of that.

I resent your remarks about a poor BoD

One thing they are not is poor

In the main only the shareholders are poor. The BoD do very nicely.

Perhaps the reason they haven't drilled anything like the number of wells predicted is the reason others have suggested. There is no real benefit until RH has finished selling as many as he intends.

This idea that in the face of the City KNOWING exactly what RH is doing, but shareholders in the main not knowing means the City would not have been investing heavily whatever the news, because they knew of the iceberg order.

That will change, so why waste good news that does nothing, and its been noted here that good news has been virtually ignored, of course it has, its just provided more opportunity for RH to sell down more, with the price doing very little irrespective of the news.

In my opinion, this is why Amerisur have chosen downtime, well maintenance, almost as if trying not to achieve too much, with the only exception CPO-5, which being a third party operator, Amerisur don't have much choice in reporting.

When we get an RNS from RH or confirmation he's sold as many as he intends, the price will find a new level and then good news will propel it further.

In the meantime it wouldn't hurt some of the BoD to relinquish earnings, or at least put their hands in their very deep pockets.

Re 6962 Tony, that may well have been RH’s motive. But whilst this personal vendetta - if that is what it is, goes on - we end up with a Chairman being disgruntled and likely as not putting in far less effort - but of course still trousering his salary. We’ll have our day as far the chairman is concerned when he comes up for renewal in 2019, or before. I am looking forward to seeing the back of him and without paying any compensation.
I haven’t looked back through the company’s drilling records over the last three years but my guess is that the company hasn’t and won’t drill anything like the number of holes that it has predicted. Happy to be corrected but the news flow would have been a lot greater had the drilling programme been executed.

I've raised this issue several times before. Amerisur has the buy back mandate but have never used it. I guess a company that buys back stock is clearly demonstrating that a. It's run out of investment options or b. It considers the shares to be undervalued. Or both. The problem would be doing it while mot in possession of market sensitive information I guess.

From RNS 8/4/15

As a reminder, the LTIP awards in the Share Price Growth column in the table are five year awards with a three year vesting period. The base price for the share price growth is 37.22p, a 55% increase from yesterday's closing price of 24.0p. They will vest when certain performance criteria have been met - 50% when a 33% growth from the base price share price has been achieved (a 106% increase from yesterday's closing price) within three years (10% per annum compound), a further 25% on a 52% increase from the base price (a 136% increase from yesterday's closing price), (15% per annum compound) over three years and the final 25% on a 73% increase from the base price (an 168% increase from yesterday's closing price), (20% per annum compound) over three years. The share price target must also be held for 30 calendar days.

The LTIP awards in the Pipeline column in the table are five year LTIP awards with a three year vesting period and relate to the successful installation of the pipeline and commencement of operations. The vesting of the pipeline LTIP awards will be determined by the Remuneration Committee's assessment of the results of the commissioning and operations of the pipeline.

Clearly the BOD thought the OBA would be a money spinner...as we all did!

All those options were the reasons I sold out my holdings the first time @ 20p, with a ten bagger. My average is now less than 20p but I dont hold so many ;-)

Hi Tony,
An interesting way of looking at it. However, I'm not feeling generous enough to thank someone for destroying the value of my shares to statisfy a personal agenda. If this was RH's ambition, he has achieved a pyrrhic victory.
I'd prefer a 1.2% dilution at 30p to zero dilution at 16p.

BWD.
From another angle, scuppering the exercise of those options actually prevented a 1.2% dilution of the existing number of shares - both the BoD's and ours!

So we, at least, should be thanking RH. ;-)
