16/2/2018 12:44 | If this stays up by the end of the day we just might have hit bottom and who knows Rex may not sell any more if we have not had any problems during the month the future looks bright keep the faith..and fingers crossed!. | ![]() bryet
16/2/2018 12:38 | Quarrel? "An angry argument or disagreement" Not from my perspective, just a difference of opinion where all are welcome | foiledagain
16/2/2018 12:19 | The positive way to look at it is that 20% of his shares went in the last spikes. A couple more spikes on good news will take his holding to equal and opposite the short position. We don't need to quarrel on this one: it is just a slightly different take on the facts. In any event, I want to see them drilling the "N" sands for the profit and reserves: they need to deliver value and the share price will take care of itself. | ![]() charlieeee
16/2/2018 11:59 | charlieeee I don't think the get drilling idea works efficiently. We have seen how any good news is swallowed up making very little difference, hence some observations that the BoD may not even be too interested in providing good news just to aid RH. Yes, it might get rid of his shares, but at negligible difference to the share price until he was out where that good news would have been used already. The share price will go up when the City decides it will go up, or when its too risky for any one of them to be out in case a competitor gets in their first and adds upward momentum to the share price knocking out shorts and leveraged deals and providing the impetus for chain reaction upwards instead of the downward cascade in the share price we have noted here. I don't believe its a coincidence that the real good news has been CPO-5 which Amerisur have no alternative but notify, whereas operationally on its 100% assets it can choose when to drill, when to stop production for maintenance etc. etc. | foiledagain

16/2/2018 10:37 | Does anyone have an evidence to prove that RH is selling below 20p? Do we not think that he sold into the recent spikes, when volume picked up? He clearly is not deliberately crashing the price, otherwise, with his fire power, this would be zero: he has extracted himself from a significant position as stealthily as possible over a period of time. To see him gone as quickly as possible, we need good news, which would encourage PIs and perhaps a new II to snap up his stock: the solution is entirely in management's hands: get drilling. Otherwise, we are going to have to wait for CPO-5 to do the trick. | ![]() charlieeee
16/2/2018 10:18 | I reject the idea that RH is selling all of his shares to finance Mintails, as that explanation doesn't make sense for several reasons. Rex had funding to launch a bid of $60m for takeover of Mintails in 2011. If he was hard pressed, then he would not at the same time as selling some Amerisur have bought Pantheon Resources? This guy purportedly owns City Securities or did on 24/4/17, so funding would not be a reason to sell Amerisur and not from a family worth so much money. My own opinion is there was a major rift, possibly about asking that the company be put up for sale but I would not be surprised if RH's selling was to remain just under 3% as the new transparency rules mean a holding just under 3% remains off Amerisur's major shareholders list and kept grey. | foiledagain

16/2/2018 08:51 | Perhaps Mr Harbour isn't that stupid and willing enough to cut off his nose to spite his face by disposing of all his remaining shares at current levels. Surely, despite his spat with the BOD, he must be aware of the company's potential and that he will be much wealthier by disposing of the bulk of his holding at much higher prices to today's? At some point he will realise that he's made a point of sorts and will want to achieve as much money from his remaining investment as possible. | ![]() chopper harris1

15/2/2018 23:11 | Forget Rex, this company is generating significant cash every month and if any of the 16 fully funded wells due to be drilled this year flow this will re-rate regardless:-) Every dip is a buying opportunity for those that can grasp the fundamentals | ![]() return_of_the_apeman
15/2/2018 21:33 | Lucyp00p 15 Feb '18 - 17:52 - 6907 of 6913 Because Rex didn't and doesn't want to clear his position in one go. Hi Lucy -- exactly my take on this situation. More than happy to drip feed the stock for as long as it takes. As the trading volume keeps slowing the longer the pain will be in flicked on Giles Clarke, but as Trotts says for us longer term holders it matters not, because in the carriage of time prams run out of toys. | ![]() westmoreland lad
