Fact,,rh is financing the restructure of mintail commencing 13months ago ,,mintail employes or did about 1000 people ,,,this would stretch the resources of even the most wealthy ,,,but the rewards could dwarf the potential return he could make here ,,so yes foiled again is bang on the money ASIs Westy ,

The constant drip, drip, drip of the so-called Chinese water torture method tended to have a negative effect on local sentiment...

Although information on RH is limited, it would appear that he's got wealth "off the radar" so I'd doubt that he's a forced seller. I think it's much more likely that he's trying to screw over GC by steadily dripping the shares into the market to keep the share price in check. Cutting off nose to spite face without a doubt, but I reckon it's just pocket money for RH that he really doesn't care about.

After all's said and done, it does look like yet another chance to purchase at giveaway prices and so long as there's no little "AIM secrets" lurking in the background, then it really does appear to be free cash purchasing at these lowly levels......

Al -- I'm in both and won't be selling a stick as longer term sense / true value
will prevail. Shorter term N4P keeping me sane , for now.

Possibly wrongly, but every time the name Rex Harbour crops up I get a vision of
a baby in a pram bawling it's eyes out and toys being thrown in all directions.

Or he's a forced seller as nobody would sell here @ c 17p in the full knowledge
that their real value is c double.

Or The Toon Army is correct with his possible conspiracy theory.

Harrisun, I can't answer for the FCA document title, but upon inspection the document clearly has greater detail - and the point remains that the actual Current Disclosure list within the document does not contain Amer.

Mind you, in theory there could be any number of shorts below the reportable threshold of 0.5%.

So maybe there's a particular seller who is mentioned here from time to time who also has shorted the stock under various guises in a way that keeps it under the radar - playing the ends against the middle. Fanciful, but who really knows..?

The sector isn’t on its backside; however, heavily indebted companies - such as Premier - have been hit hard when the oil price goes below certain levels.

The RH/GC spat has been going on since late 2015/early 2016. Us humble PIs are caught in the crossfire and we can only hope that positive drilling news will do something to unlock the impasse.

Seller or no seller the sector is still seriously on its backside and has been for years.

You don't add them together. That was the extent.

Edit. Apologies Davwall didn't see you had already replied on that point

Well I followed link and at the top of the downloaded spreadsheet it states CURRENT DISCLOSURES 12.2.18

And ref your post 6807 saying:
If GSA have 2.14% short on Amerisur. If they closed went long to same extent, would be no RH shares?

You don't add the entries together, they are the same position at each change of their short holding.

Tyler

There are two tabs on the FCA's XL sheet:

Current Disclosures 12/02/2018 & Historical Disclosures 12/02/2018

I repeat; Amerisur is not listed under Current Disclosures. The entries you show are from the Historical list. The holding in question dropped below 0.5% last September.

There is currently no notified short holding of 0.5% or above.

Rh has been selling for over a year ,(a)finance the restructure of mintail and (b)it's well known he has been at odds with the board for a couple of years and by dripping out shares suppressing the share price puts pressure on them ,,,,so here's the clincher ,,do you hold of buying hopeing for this to be resolved ,or do buy now in the knowledge that the share price would be at least double if it wasn't for a and b,,,personally I'm buying when I can for cash ,,,,value will out at some stage this year ,

The FCA Last is current it shows the current daily disclosed NET short position, not when it ceased to exist. That's why the document is called "current disclosures 12.2.18" It requires notification if .1% changes in position. Check the link

would it be in the interests of everyone for the board to find a buyer for RH's remaining holding?? Or is this a little simplistic?

If GSA still have a notifiable short position surely it’s below the 0.5% threshold for publication, and as shown in the current FSA list?
