19/10/2014 22:17 | Gecko was speaking for himself, whereas Abbott was speaking for Oz. | azalea
19/10/2014 16:28 | Abbott's words remind me of Gordon Gecko's 'greed is good' soliloquy :-) | cheekyfella
19/10/2014 12:40 | All the holders in ANR know its potential to provide Oz with CTL generated electricity for the next 50-60 years, its merely a matter of time(well ahead of the global population reaching the next billion(8)), when someone will get the project up and running. | azalea
19/10/2014 08:56 | FT, 18 October 2014 Australian Prime Minister on Coal "Let's have no demonisation on coal, said Mr Abbott at the opening of a coal mine on Tuesday. Coal is good for humanity, good for prosperity, coal is an essential part of our economic future, here in Australia and around the world". (Sunlituplands LSE) 100% behind the Arckaringa project!. | 2admiral
17/10/2014 18:56 | out with the old in with the new | pembury
17/10/2014 17:53 | I spoke with Chris a little while before CNOOC went and he said then that he was totally frustrated with them | jakes114
17/10/2014 17:10 | risk1, you seem to be the only one out of the loop on Altona. Get along to Altona's office in Pall Mall. It makes the Harrods Christmas sale look like a wet weekend in Walthamstow. | fulham46
17/10/2014 16:42 | Similar deal with Sino Australia imo carry to BFS minimum, around 50% retained. That would release tranche A options at 1.5p. | pembury
17/10/2014 16:39 | CB That's true. You can hold out for what you want if you like so you're not shafted, but if you can't find someone who is willing to meet your terms, you end up with nothing, albeit you still own 100%! And FYI CNOOC wouldn't sign the JV unless they got 51%. | tarni
17/10/2014 16:16 | And don't forget, we Own 100% ;0)) So I don't think we will get shafted. | cube boss
17/10/2014 15:39 | That was lack of progress under CNOOC, i would hope lesson learnt with this new partnership! With the ANR, Wintask and SA connection I would think more synergy and better working relations to make things happen, especially with Wintask investing money in ANR and possibly Sino also soon. | pembury
17/10/2014 15:33 | The RNS doesn't say that CL is leaving on the 8 Dec, just that he has taken the decision to step down as a director and CE to dedicate more time to his other business interests. If he stays on as a consultant/adviser in a management role he would get his options A and B even if that is 5 years down the line. I'm afraid I'm with NK on the reasons why. I think he has had enough waiting with no action. It's all well and good complaining about the lack of progress and directing it at CL and the BOD just because on the surface it appears that they have their feet up but in reality they have always been waiting on other people. When challenged at the last AGM regarding the lack of progress his answer was: If people don't answer letters, return phone calls, make a decision, what am I suppose to do? The answer is, there is nothing that you can do. | tarni
17/10/2014 14:59 | Agree NK to some extent and will buy more once i have read the details, however i have taken a punt at these levels and will add again potentially, but there comes the premium but less risk. Currently 50% in. | pembury
17/10/2014 14:57 | Chart starting to look like it's about to break out!! ;0))) | cube boss
17/10/2014 14:43 | Bloody amount of positivity on this thread is amazing considering no one knows what any deal will do for us PI's. There is nothing stopping our 2 large investors slicing this up between them leaving us with a very small percentage. Been here far to long to try and predict what any news flow would contain. Anyone looking to get in should wait until we have something concrete to base their investment on. | newkid
17/10/2014 14:24 | I've been buying in for the first time over the last 8 days, get in before news and make 150% more than after news! Play safe and wait till news comes, nothing wrong with that!. We all know news is very close and should transform the SP! AIMHO of course. Have a great weekend. GLA ;0))) | cube boss
17/10/2014 14:12 | As I said the other day. 1p to 0p isn't exactly far 1p to 2p,3p,4p,5p,6p,7p,8p do the sums and masturbate vigorously | cheekyfella
17/10/2014 14:07 | They now have a plan for Arckaringa which i would guess will soon be implemented. | seismick
17/10/2014 14:02 | I had to buy 4 lots to get what I wanted couldn't get them in one go. | y1phr
17/10/2014 14:00 | at 1p if you think there will be a deal then worth buying a few if you don't think there will be a deal then dont buy. | pembury
17/10/2014 13:57 | Who bought all those shares in that short period? Is it a private punter or somebody in the know? | risk1
17/10/2014 13:54 | ANR was always a fantastic opportunity - the opportunity hasn't changed - just the people tasked with realising it. More people will be made aware of this opportunity in the weeks ahead. Have a good weekend | cheekyfella
17/10/2014 13:52 | Granted but other hammered shares have been hammered more tlw sml bao i rest my case | risk1
17/10/2014 13:51 | Because it's too undervalued, a deal will transform the share price .;0)) | cube boss |
