16/10/2014 18:20 | Not sure this is as good news as many believe. CL did not walk because he had to much on else where IMO. He walked because he did not want to be blamed for stitching the shareholders up. It could go either way from here. We could all end up with nothing or we could all end up with a multi bagger. Based on my latest attempt at playing the FTSE I for one would not like to predict which way this will go. | newkid
16/10/2014 14:06 | I anticipating a corker pemb!. Buys down as sells 200k buy 0.948p | seismick
16/10/2014 13:03 | Wintask invested £3.22m in cash so should see them through for a few years. As outlined in tranche A options, any deal will be to fund ANR through to BFS!. They hold 100% so there could also be a cash element to the farmout + development cost carry. I hold another stock that also held 100% of a decent asset and they secured a three phase full development cost carry + $6m in cash. One thing similar is they both hold great assets which will hopefully be reflected in the deal. Lost count of the amount of times the company have said Arckaringa is 'world class'. | pembury
16/10/2014 12:57 | Thanks so how much cash have they got left? | risk1
16/10/2014 12:56 | Wintask invested £m's in cash risk1. | pembury

16/10/2014 11:26 | Don't get this stock, how can I not buy 200k?. | seismick
16/10/2014 10:21 | CL is staying on for a while for some reason and if Tranche A completes in that period he will get his 7.5m options. mmmmm | pembury
16/10/2014 10:12 | Up she goes | risk1
16/10/2014 10:09 | Cheers pem, hadn't read the conditions!. Buying was at 0.925p now 0.96p. | 2admiral
16/10/2014 09:56 | All in the 31/3 RNS seismick. Tranche A dependent on agreement to take ANR to BFS stage. 'Tranche A on the condition that the Company has entered into a binding agreement with a third party to fund the Arckaringa Coal to Methanol BFS (performance condition A) and the option holder is in employment of the company at the time that performance condition A is met' | pembury
16/10/2014 09:43 | If he stays on a bit he may well get his 7.5m 1.5p options | seismick
16/10/2014 08:45 | this time next year Rodney ... | cheekyfella

16/10/2014 06:55 | Reckon a deal is imminent now. One thing for sure I can't see these guys hanging about like CNOC!. Todays rns was part of the process and expect key news very soon. It also helps when you have the Austrlia Government 100% behind you and the project. We can see with Linc Energy's programmes that when things get going here they can really move. ANR's neighbours are drilling and don't think it will be that long now before this company are insitu. Countdown...... | peruoil
15/10/2014 22:21 | Reckon you are right 2admiral. Wintask will want to see a return on their multi £m investment in ANR with a buy in price of 1.4p. Been a very long wait but seems things are finally about to happen. Take my chance thank you. | seismick
15/10/2014 20:42 | A successful deal for the project doesn't necessarily mean a successful deal for shareholders. | mogwhy
15/10/2014 19:44 | I guess the news today clears the ways for deal news. Lovely jubbly. At least the wording was used in a way to give investors a lifeline after such a long wait things finally look to be reaching a successful conclusion. | 2admiral
15/10/2014 15:27 | No problem keeping things balanced imo | risk1
15/10/2014 15:20 | well the Chinese hold 30% of ANR so it is their best interests also to get Arckaringa developed. Investing £m's at 1.4p i guess they will want a return!. I noticed you missed this part out lol 'As the company now moves closer to a phase development' well this phase is to secure a jv and complete drilling. | pembury
15/10/2014 15:18 | Chinese now in complete control of Altona energy. Can't see the chinese working in the interests of uk share holders imo now chris lambert gone. Directorate Change 15th October 2014.......... Altona Energy plc announces the resignation of Chris Lambert as a director of the Company with immediate effect and as Chief Executive of the Company with effect from 8 December 2014. | grizzybear |
