This has already been hammered because they had no JV deal risk1, however i think that could be about to change!.

Last time we had a deal, the CNOOC one, we went to 20p

If they get a deal which i think they indeed will then would think a sensible valuation would reflect it currently just gbp7.5m. It's here because there is 'yet' no deal.

Count me in again. Had a quote of MPLE at 4.75p and refused so the fear of a big spike makes me not want to be out of these.

Plenty of 1p buys, then again plenty of 1.15p recently. You could be right seismick reading the last RNS things do look to be taking shape finally!.

I'm also thinking that it's a sign of how highly (lowly) we all think of AIM directors.

There have been all sorts of theories thrown around about why he is leaving and yet the only one that no-one ever seems to consider is the reason given in the RNS!

Sad times or just cynical times?

NK, don't forget, CL is hanging around until 8th December.

They must have an idea by now of when the deal will be agreed, why would he be kept on until that date? To give him a little sweetener perhaps?

I'm thinking the JV partners don't want him involved and maybe this has been the hold-up?

Lets not get carried away here. If we were so close to a deal I am sure CL would not have walked unless it was not good. Why would you walk away from a 229k pay packet and options just when the company was going to take off? Our
MD walked 10 months ago. Why?

When a deal is done, I think ANR will be self ramping! Only one way from here!!..;0)))

Dubai, some of us have been here for 8 years now and when you look at the figures into production/years etc etc the profits and dividends (potential) are mind blowing so yes we all think a deal is imminent and probably life changing.

He hasn't given anything away but after speaking with him I am more confident the company is heading in the right direction for us. We should know more shortly.

seismick, if you have spoken to him, enlighten the rest of us!!!

Morning NK, not sure I agree with you about CL as he's been milking us pi's for years with no sense of right or wrong.

We can expect to see a new replacement soon as rns states so interesting to see who?.
Taking shape 'as the company now moves closer to a phase of development'.

CL did not walk: He was pushed out for over promising and under delivering. He took a huge salary from a company which produced no revenue.People clearly had no trust in him and he failed to build relationships with the Chinese whether it was CNOOC, or Wintask. He was in the words of the FT "A lifestyle CEO, typical of many AIM energy companies".

At these levels i've taken some on a risk/ reward basis. Not massive but worth holding a few imo as I believe ANR will get a good deal for investors. If/ when confirmed i will probably top up again albeit higher but less risky. 1p/ £7.5m market cap for a multi billion ton JORC compliant resource and holding 100%.
