10/1/2022 17:51 | Mm, 10% extra equity created but within a reserve for an employee long term share incentive scheme. In a weird way it gives me some comfort that maybe the management believes the bottom or thereabouts has been reached. Actually I stuck my toe in again today--it had to be "a toe" as I appear to have lost most of "my fingers" with previous forays! | gregmorg
07/1/2022 09:18 | Good advice…and for free! | ched1
06/1/2022 21:48 | Err, instead of someone said somewhere else, you could always just read the RNS,Its what people with half a brain tend to do | the lockkeeper
06/1/2022 10:23 | M W It’s been eerily silent for the last two weeks. Complete absence of news certainly - but might the penny be beginning to drop that all is not what it should be? According to a poster on the LSE board Blackrock sold their entire holding in the last few days… | ched1
06/1/2022 10:08 | Very quiet on here considering the hammering we're taking | m w

23/12/2021 17:31 | mm but unfortunately that doesn't offset the 50% decline since the IPO. Still one can live in hope! | gregmorg
23/12/2021 16:52 | Shareprice up by nearly 20% over the past 2 weeks. | masurenguy

21/12/2021 13:33 | The shorters started taking their stakes out, noticed a small decrease today. Hopefully to be followed by others! | taras73
18/12/2021 09:37 | There is a lot of uncertainty about the company at the moment and a high degree of geopolitical risk. | f56
17/12/2021 22:27 | Do you think that`s why they are being shorted but I see that one short has closed. Others might follow. | arcadian
17/12/2021 18:49 | They still need a link via Alphawave to the main foundries outside of China. | f56
17/12/2021 18:26 | Alphawave are giving their IP away in Dec to a Chinese company called Wisewave. | f56
16/12/2021 19:40 | They have stolen so much intellectual property that I can`t see why this should be any different or is it? | arcadian
16/12/2021 14:18 | what was the point of showing a strategic business update on 16 December? It came out as an RNS on 2 December. I read it again just to cheer myself up but I am afraid it didn't really do it for me a second time! | gregmorg
16/12/2021 12:49 | Always seems more sells than buys | daler1966
16/12/2021 07:18 | Strategic Business Update Acquisition of Precise-ITC and completion of major milestones for China Product Partnership LONDON, United Kingdom and TORONTO, Ontario, Canada Dec 2, 2021 - Alphawave IP (LN:AWE), a global leader in high-speed connectivity for the world's technology infrastructure is pleased to announce the acquisition of Precise-ITC and the completion of significant milestones for the China Product Partnership ("CPP"). Key highlights -- Alphawave IP has agreed to acquire Precise-ITC, Inc. an emerging leader in the Ethernet and Optical Transport Network (OTN) communications connectivity IP space. -- Alphawave IP has also completed all CPP implementation milestones and CPP, now incorporated as WiseWave Technology Co., Ltd ("WiseWave"), has been funded and will receive its first IP delivery from Alphawave IP in December 2021, as planned. WiseWave was founded as a Chinese semiconductor device company focused on the mainland Chinese market. -- In addition, Alphawave IP has completed the consolidation of its VeriSilicon reseller relationship with WiseWave to provide one interface to customers in China, in line with the plan communicated at the time of Alphawave IP's IPO. This consolidation has no material impact on the combined value of the WiseWave and VeriSilicon transactions. John Lofton Holt, Executive Chairman of Alphawave IP stated: i"We are pleased to have worked successfully with the Wise Road and WiseWave teams to execute against these important operational milestones. WiseWave has built a world-class team and we look forward to supporting this team as it builds its first communications semiconductor products with our IPs in 2022 and 2023." | masurenguy
15/12/2021 15:30 | Surprised no one seems interested in this beaten up little gem. Expecting a handsome bear trap rally from here. | welshwiz
14/12/2021 12:16 | Several companies are shorting this and that always puts others off. We need the full year results. | arcadian
12/12/2021 12:34 | Do you have access to the buy/sell data? it would be interesting to see the accuracy or otherwise of the ADVFN ratios. | the lockkeeper
11/12/2021 23:15 | Ref #900 - it's not broadly accurate. I have often bought shares in companies below the last quoted midprice, which very often fluctuates on very short timeframes, and seen those buys shown as sells on the ADVFN trading list. On Friday, while the Bid remained fairly constant at 184p there were trades going through at 179p , almost certainly sells, and also at 183p, almost certainly buys, even though both prices were below the Bid. The shareprice closed up circa 6% against Thursdays close so it is unlikely that there were many more sells than buys over the trading day. | masurenguy
11/12/2021 21:42 | I found this podcast interesting/educatio How 'Hyperscalers' are Innovating — and Competing — in the Data Center: "Increasingly in recent years, hyperscale data centre operators have been designing their own silicon for processing and connectivity functionality to take advantage of economies of scale, attain a greater internal control over technology and increase service differentiation. To ensure their silicon matches or exceeds performance of merchant silicon, they have been relying on third-party silicon IP providers, like Alphawave IP." | rambutan2
11/12/2021 18:52 | I see its an estimate based on the criteria you describe, so not precise, but I would have thought broadly accurate ? | the lockkeeper
11/12/2021 10:43 | The Buy/Sell ratio was not circa 20%/80%. Don't take ADVFN trading figures as being representative of the trading pattern. They have an algorithm which arbitrarily classifies a trade as a Buy or Sell depending upon whether the price paid was above or below the mid-price at that time. | masurenguy |
