04/11/2021 19:47 | Hi folks, 'Michelle Senecal de Fonseca' is a female and quite an attractive one !!! BTW bought several thousand more today in addition to what I already own. | bookish
04/11/2021 19:35 | The key point is that his £4k purchase was far worse than no purchase, as far as confidence building is concerned | staffchief
04/11/2021 19:25 | Absurd. He didn't have to buy any shares so a small purchase has no significance whatsoever. | masurenguy
04/11/2021 18:13 | It can be taken for granted that the share price this afternoon would have seen a step up if the rns today had reported that a director had spent £40k | staffchief
04/11/2021 18:01 | Spending of as little as £4k by an insider is not a good demonstration of confidence. This act of purchase could easily be interpreted an indication how nervous he was in making this buy at an already hugely discounted price. We are at a fragile point where any non positive moves could make the situation worse easily | staffchief
04/11/2021 17:46 | ---- Ditto -- | bookish
04/11/2021 16:57 | Why was it a disgrace ? | masurenguy
04/11/2021 16:31 | The new purchase of 2000 shares by a director yesterday was a disgrace | staffchief
04/11/2021 11:58 | Surely the news should have been rnsd. Short squeeze or miracle needed here!! | mustau
04/11/2021 09:48 | We will, one day end up owned by a far eastern company - A South Korean, A Japanese or A Taiwanese. This is almost a certainty. This is the full article: - - - - | fuji99
04/11/2021 09:35 | I received this Alphawave press announcement this morning but I haven't had a chance to really read it. Will do so later in the day so in the meantime I have just pasted it as below. Think there's more but I no time to access right now. "Samsung and Alphawave IP Announce Acceleration of Deep Partnership with Flagship Global Hyperscaler Design Win at 4nm LONDON, United Kingdom, SEOUL, South Korea, and TORONTO, Ontario, Canada November 4, 2021 – Alphawave IP, a global leader in high-speed connectivity for the world’s technology infrastructure, and Samsung are pleased to announce they have secured a strategic design win with a flagship global hyperscaler for a leading-edge datacentre system-on-chip (SoC). This represents one of the first global hyperscaler design wins in Samsung’s 4nm technology, and highlights Alphawave’s continued leadership of its connectivity technology. The design win leverages Alphawave’s most advanced silicon IP technologies at 4nm that delivers 100Gbps Ethernet connectivity." | gregmorg
04/11/2021 09:33 | Samsung and Alphawave IP Announce Acceleration of Deep Partnership with Flagship Global Hyperscaler Design Win at 4nm - GlobeNewswire 04-Nov-2021 09:00:00 London, United Kingdom, Seoul, South Korea, and Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Nov. 04, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alphawave IP, a global leader in high-speed connectivity for the world’s technology infrastructure, and Samsung are pleased to announce they have secured a strategic design win with a flagship global hyperscaler for a leading-edge datacentre system-on-chip (SoC). 03/11/2021 17:11 | Re Amanti podcast. There are only 3 foundries in the world that can cope with the 4nm technology used by AWE. Samsung in SKorea, TSMC in Taiwan and Intel in the US which is currently being subsidised by the US government - deemed too important to fail. As AWE is strongly associated with TSMC it will eventually be considered as part of the critical infrastructure as it gets embedded. Hence the importance from a critical infrastructure point of view and hence its importance to China. | f56
03/11/2021 16:23 | Worth keeping an eye on the weekly chart to see a change in trend with the bulls taking the candles white: free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | simon gordon
03/11/2021 16:14 | fastbuck - 804: UK Tech sector is broken Nonsense ! I have several UK Tech stocks that are doing very well. One of them has trebled in price over the past 12 months and is also up 28% over the past 4 weeks. | masurenguy
03/11/2021 16:06 | UK Tech sector is broken. It's like trying to push water up hill, so much more choice and opportunities in US while shortens don't appear to create the damage they inflict happily on UK listed tech companies. | fastbuck
03/11/2021 15:06 | Re the IC Podcast link (thanks, Simon) providing the Amati CEO's comment that they investigated the tech ("worldclass"), the quality of the business, and the insinuations of circularity ("wrong-headed") before deciding to buy - I guess at a higher price than the current 184.4p as I write - carry weight for me. So a moderate investment for me. | hew
03/11/2021 15:05 | Just bought small batches today for a total of 1100 shares, to begin a nice introduction to this 6th most shorted share. | sandeep67
03/11/2021 14:32 | So did I. Thought I'd got in a decent price but now 40% down. Thinking of adding at these prices. Anyone know when the next news/results are due? I think that will be the turning point. | tscole70
03/11/2021 09:32 | Simon, Many thanks for the link. Listened to it last night. Amati’s comments certainly make sense to me as explaining the dramatic share price drop. Only time will tell whether it is the correct reasoning although to me it is the best explanation so far. We will just have to let it burn through. | gregmorg
02/11/2021 15:56 | Paul Jourdan of Amati discusses AWE, from 30 minutes in: IC podcast - 20/10/21 | simon gordon |
