08/12/2021 23:16 | Jeez seriously depressing action with this share. Think I'm going to cut and run at this point as who knows where the bottom is? Nothing to say it can't continue to fall indefinitely...... | davidro77
06/12/2021 22:46 | So they got taken out? | davidro77
04/12/2021 14:57 | I very much doubt it would be worth the effort. | f56
04/12/2021 12:57 | is that an fact rather than a opinion?if so would be interested to hear it | the lockkeeper
04/12/2021 12:50 | Err bought at 182.2 and sold at 202, just over 10% on a quite substantial number, will let the dust settle and possibly buy back in when it does.. | the lockkeeper
04/12/2021 09:07 | It’s unlikely China will steal anything from 4nm downwards. | f56
03/12/2021 22:59 | Please explain how you made a profit on such a dismal share price performance - or have you been short the whole time? | davidro77
03/12/2021 20:00 | congrats 74tom 30 Sep '21 - 09:15 - 522 of 876 There are 300k shares on the bid around the £2 level, if they get taken out then I think we'll see a re-test of the 170p area. Considering the scale of the drop there is very little serious appetite for stock... | buywell3
03/12/2021 19:19 | Marvell Stock upgraded. | f56
03/12/2021 16:38 | It wouldn't be the first time that a company decides to make a cheeky offer at under half the IPO price and takes the company back into private hands. Game set and match and thank you for the cash injection! As a shareholder I wouldn't be pleased but what could I do about it! | gregmorg
02/12/2021 23:58 | how long before the Chinese copy/steal the ip on the chips, not keen on this ever closer association with China, think I might take my profit and head for the hills | the lockkeeper
02/12/2021 18:19 | Nasty fall in the end today. Disappointing to lose 200p again it felt like momentum was starting to build a little :( | davidro77
02/12/2021 17:51 | I dont think they will move to the Nasdaq. I think they chose London to be able to freely sell into China. Moving to the Nasdaq may jeopardise this | jadedpersimmon
02/12/2021 17:07 | No they need a NA customer off the size of CPP. Or to move to NASDAQ | scepticalinvestor
02/12/2021 11:11 | And the price is down again. Doesn't seem like the market is interested at all. Anything to do with china is also poorly received right now. It feels like we have a floor in the share price but what will it take to start a proper uptrend here - I guess a set of blockbuster results is needed | davidro77

26/11/2021 14:03 | From WealthOracleAM a few months ago.... Alphawave IP is a Canadian semiconductor technology specialist, that builds industry-leading connectivity solutions. Their products allow data to travel faster, more reliably but at a lower power. In essence, they make microprocessors work better. Based in Toronto and London, the Group was listed earlier this year. Their history is not very rich as the company was founded in 2017. However, we like the model they have adopted which is similar to another company on the UK market – ARM, namely licensing its technology to chip manufacturers. Information on fundamentals is limited as it stretches only 3 years back. Inspiring would be an understatement when we try to describe the growth rates. 300% CAGR on the income statement is not sustainable in any shape of form, but is a green light that the company is on the right path. On top of thatm they are already profitable, and forecasts for 2021 is for EPS to double the previous figure and revenue to nearly triple. The IPO means the company is sitting on a big pile of cash and gearing is negative. As with all good things, they do come at a price, P/E for last year was at a whopping 192. Expectations for 2021 is for it to fall to a more reasonable, yet far from realistically sustainable long-term, 71. Alphawave is clearly a growth story, and all we would like to see is them building customer portfolio worthy of the pricing. Latest trading update for the Q3 seems to be fulfilling our wishes. North American customers have increased by 137% over the past 9 months and the company has managed to win 4 new customers in Q3, including a hyperscaler, bringing the total number of clients to 21. Total annual bookings are now in excess of $219m, with Q4 seeing a “robust pipeline”. The positive outlook and mediocre IPO performance are potentially presenting a good opportunity to enter the company. We would love to see the stock settling and recovering a bit before we upgrade to Buy, but if you are a believer in technology and semis, the company seems to be headed the right way. | km18
26/11/2021 08:22 | One of the few blues on my share monitor this morning. Totally ridiculous spread however ! | masurenguy
26/11/2021 01:07 | Good morning good folk of AWE it appears we both have been infiltrated here and on our thread MXC by the frenzied nutter that is sad robot and his many aliases talking complete nonsense, come across join us even if you don't buy or sell in shouting the ' 'nonce' down (his favourite word that I wonder why?) He's apparently on holidays but posting 200 times a day, 20p a time of course | heatseek77
25/11/2021 18:23 | noticed over on LSE board that someone's asked if this is similar to IQE. Looking at trading update it got pummelled yesterday. I still don't know much about AWE. Is it the same? | sandeep67

23/11/2021 17:52 | Well as it was approved in May 2021 ( according to the statement) so the detail should be in the IPO documentation. It seems to be a known corporate action formally approved /rubber stamped at a later stage by the Courts. No doubt a necessary legal tidying up of the formal accounting structure prior to the IPO. Hence I guess no further explanation from the Co. | gregmorg
23/11/2021 15:46 | Once the recovery sets in bears will run to the hilld..I'm still a buyer sub 200p Stay patient | ny boy |
