What are the chances of the kimmeridge limestone's flowing like Horsehill? 20%?

The Great Oolite limestone lies below the Kimmeridge limestones and the Corillian limestones, the following link on OIP at HH provides a detailed diagram of the geology.....Angus's CEO Paul Vonk made reference to the Great Oolite in a recent interview, but yesterday's RNS confirms their intentions of drilling deeper and testing it......if the naturally fractured Kimmeridge limestones can free flow, then maybe the Corillian and the Great Oolite also....Exciting times. ;-)

Alba Mineral Resources: Broadening triangle towards 0.65p

Alba Mineral Resources: Broadening triangle towards 0.65p
It may be the case that after the Horse Hill mania of the past few years, Alba Mineral Resources (LON:ALBA) is finally in sharp focus as a decent small cap prospect.

What is interesting from a charting perspective is the last time there was a blip for the bulls, which was associated with the September cash raise of £900,000. Since then we have slowly had a more realistic appraisal of the company in terms of its “Gatwick Gusher” asset, even though we are dialling down from the “one billion barrels” number which was famously (allegedly) put about.

There has been a broadening triangle in place on the daily chart from the time of the lows of the year, made in early August. The resistance line projection of the formation is heading as high as the 0.65p zone, which would retest the former initial 2016 peak.

As for the time frame on such a move, a decent weekly close on Friday above October resistance at 0.4p could be enough to deliver the technical destination as soon as the end of next month.

Back in London on the weekend. Can't wait to get down to Brockham and see what the programme is up to.

They are shallow. less than 1,000 metres from memory. that covers the Portland Sandstone all all Kimmeridge limestones. Conventional stuff.

It's funny to think that people actually believe that there is another bigger rig arriving at Brockham. The rig that is there is "THE" rig.

To save any confusion - there will NOT be another rig arriving on site at Brockham. The rig that is there will do all the work. @DoriemusPlc

Imagine the market response on a stellar Greenland graphite Rns and JV with a Billion $ Chinese rare earth specialist.

Transformational potential given China's undoubted interest in all things Greenland......the data analysis of Alba's aerial Electro Magnetic graphite/Gold and other rare mineral survey , news expected anytime now, could be in full focus by more than just UK investors. Gla ;-)

Recent strategic partnership

Greenland Minerals recently agreed to issue a 12.5% equity stake to a subsidiary of leading rare earth company Shenghe Resources Holding Co Ltd (SHA:600392), which has a market cap of over A$2.5 billion.

The agreement aligns one of the world's premier emerging rare earth projects, with one of the most technically-proficient, internationally focussed, and front-footed Chinese rare earth groups.

China to stockpile large volumes of minerals under new plan

By Albert Li
Published: Wednesday, 07 December 2016

Rare earths and graphite are to be warehoused in quantities at least 80% of the country’s domestic capacity as China looks to secure supply of materials where demand is on the rise.

China will build 103 national resource bases to secure its supply of certain minerals under the new China Mineral Resource Plan 2016-2020.

By 2020, quantities of graphite and rare earths stocked in these bases must exceed 80% of China’s domestic capacity in each mineral, in order to hold a steady "bottom line"...

More upside beckons for Alba, and not just from Brockham...........a little gem of a share. :-)

3/10/16

Alba Mineral Resources plc (AIM: ALBA) is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed an extensive airborne electromagnetic (EM) survey at the Amitsoq graphite project in southern Greenland, targeting graphite zones and extensions of the former graphite mine at Amitsoq, nickel and platinum group elements to the north of the former mine as well as potential gold targets on the mainland to the south of Amitsoq island.

Our contractor has now commenced the processing of the data acquired in the survey. Further developments will be announced as and when they are available.

----------------------------------

The principal objective is to establish and prove up the continuity of the known graphite deposit and former graphite mine, both along strike and at depth

The EM survey will also target:

known Nickel-Platinum Group Element anomalies on Amitsoq island

Gold targets further south along strike from a known gold deposit and former gold mine

By the use of the deep penetration EM system selected, Alba seeks to fast-track the exploration and development of the Amitsoq Project
