24/8/2011 15:57 | I had a policy with Admiral until recently. Some kindly person left me a fist sized dent in the rear of car. The garage cost of repair was £1k. No whiplash, no fraud, just the repair and the courtesy car. The final 'cost of claim' was over £4K!!!!! Is this a very clever accounting trick by Admiral or is the market rightly worried by the rising cost of claims? And who owns these 'claim management companies'? I want a piece!! | argylerich

09/4/2011 17:04 | Nobody here got any comments on the results last month ! Admiral announces another record profit coupled with continued strong growth. Profit before tax at £266m was 23% ahead of 2009, whilst turnover rose 47% to £1.58bn. The Board is proposing a record final dividend for 2010 of 35.5p per share, to be paid on 10 June 2011. The Directors have proposed a final dividend of 35.5p per share which will be paid on 10 June 2011. The ex-dividend date is 18 May 2011 and the record date 20 May 2011. They seem to be pretty good to me. | masurenguy
