26/11/2021 15:42 | CFO Stephanie latest long position is seriously out of the money. An old but very wealthy trader once told me that every position should have a stop loss, max 5%. If you get stopped out take it on the chin, and move on. He had self discipline, he only traded strongly rising markets. ABDN is a loser, nothing to see here. | tartshagger
26/11/2021 15:38 | I'm thinking of buying some Aviva ! | chinese investor
26/11/2021 15:36 | @CI - 40p to £2!! | tartshagger

26/11/2021 09:52 | What's happening this morning? Both abrdn and L&G dfown quite an amount. | mcunliffe1
23/11/2021 15:42 | Me too, and i personally don't think they will either. According to the Sunday Times Richard Wilson CEO of II is taking a break from negotiations. It seems II have some very big hurdles and very strict contingencies if they are ever gonna be taken over. | cfro
23/11/2021 12:12 | I hope this lot don't get interactive investor. | montyhedge
09/11/2021 18:31 | ABRDN bounce didn’t last long | gaygay3
09/11/2021 15:17 | Not sure if that makes any sense but good luck with it anyway! | cwa1
09/11/2021 14:27 | I'm sure they'll liaise with Monty before they sign the deal. Suet | suetballs
09/11/2021 13:55 | Not sure ABRDN or II will be quaking in their boots should you leave Monty..... spud | spud
09/11/2021 13:41 | Couple of reasons, ii were going to ipo 2022 and of course clients get priority I would have thought. Also I think fees would go up to pay for takeover. | montyhedge
09/11/2021 12:50 | Any particular reason you folk want to leave if ABDN buy ii? | cwa1
09/11/2021 12:25 | I'll move to AJ Bell if the deal goes ahead.Hopefully ii will not be taken over though. | gateside
09/11/2021 11:46 | I hope not I will leave ii if the deal goes ahead. | montyhedge
08/11/2021 19:17 | CFRO. The Sky story which broke the news said that they were in exclusivity. JC Flowers would not have granted exclusivity if they were not happy with the price. I suspect the deal is well advanced. | brownie69
08/11/2021 13:22 | I tend to agree montyhedge. Im hoping this deal does NOT go through, and personally speaking i feel the bid price of £1.5bn will not be enough to tempt JC Flowers to exit their investment but we shall see. | cfro
08/11/2021 12:27 | The technology perhaps. | mcunliffe1
08/11/2021 12:03 | All II customers, me being one should leave if we don't get a payout has well. Then what would they be buying. | montyhedge
08/11/2021 12:01 | I'm gutted that they are bidding for II they were going to float.I will move my account from II if they try to put up charges. | montyhedge
08/11/2021 10:40 | I use II and like their platform. If Abrdn take over the main improvement I would like to see is interest on cash not invested. Sometimes this can be quite substantial. II must be making money on accumulated cash from their vast pool of investors. I would like to see a proportion of that interest shared with their loyal members. | boozey
08/11/2021 10:31 | Typical Abrdn though, gone for the wrong vowels! | cwa1
08/11/2021 09:43 | Very good Chinese Investor :o) | bigbigdave
08/11/2021 09:39 | ii news well received by the market. Suet | suetballs |
