24/10/2024 14:33 | This is a complete over reaction but a recurring feature of this share. | pander45
24/10/2024 14:33 | I've closed my eyes, held my nose and decided to take a few at 147p. There seems no bottom currently-but I'm vainly hoping that it's a little bit oversold... | cwa1
24/10/2024 14:27 | I'm £42k down on this. Anyone posting a bigger loss? I doubt it somehow! spud | spud
24/10/2024 12:46 | ABDN overpaid for ii. | bulltradept
24/10/2024 12:35 | No we shouldnt have to pay tax on share purchases more daylight robbery | nemesis6
24/10/2024 12:33 | So we think an ISA cut will negatively affect the II business model? I'm not so sure.... People either have money to invest in the stock market or they dont An ISA change is not going to affect ABDNs bottom line by anywhere near this amount | netcurtains
24/10/2024 12:32 | Pierre - not that I can find in tabular format :- MRF - look at the table in post 3563. | skinny
24/10/2024 12:25 | Is the divi under threat? If it is, then I can understand the drop. If it isn’t, this now looks cheap. Salty | saltaire111
24/10/2024 12:24 | Skinny, do you have a similar table for peps? | pierre oreilly
24/10/2024 12:20 | Are the short sellers taking this down over 7mil sells | gaygay3
24/10/2024 12:05 | Isas were a follow on from peps, and peps a follow on from something else. My records only go back to 1995, when they were called Peps. | pierre oreilly
24/10/2024 12:04 | Smithie, There are two forces working on ABDN's share price. One good and one bad ! Which one will win ? | chinese investor
24/10/2024 11:59 | So are the Yanks going drive this down further or see this as being overdone; and reverse some of the decline. | bbd2
24/10/2024 11:53 | an overall lifetime limit may be better rather than also having a low annual limit - not everyone can save every year. | chatchat
24/10/2024 11:39 | 3558 I agree Smithie, although it has only recently been 20k - 3 or 4 years iirc. Maybe £7.5k pa going into it is more fair? I think it used to be £2.5k or thereabouts when the predecessors of isas were started decades ago. If a limit on the annual contributions and a limit to a total lifetime investment (say 100k?) were implemented then i'd be very happy, and something like that would suit most people (or at least those with 5k to invest every year). I'm more worried about labour doing something with the cash value already in the isa. | pierre oreilly
24/10/2024 11:36 | Chinese Investor posted "Never Knowingly Wrong ! Chinese Investor (ABDN) 19 Jul 2023 - 13:32:20 Once the threat of high inflation evaporates then ABDN will zoom upwards. JMO" ---- he also posted that the share price would fall. If you post that the share price will rise...AND also post that it will fall you will be surely be right !! with one of the 2 guesses !! he he ! | smithie6
24/10/2024 11:32 | Divi 9%... May wait for usa open.. or have buy order around 140p | action |
