the trading of the stock here has, in my mind, been bizarre for a looong time.

Big volumes at times too.

And, over time, a paucity of holdings RNS'.

It has been the most unsettling aspect for me.....even more so than delayed readouts.

In the good old US of A, they usually release RNS equivalents at the close of play rather than first thing I think so we may be waiting until the Nasdaq closes for news, or possibly 2:30pm.

For me the timing of the RNS is interesting - exactly at 12.30 so 2hrs before US open. Points towards an offer imho

For those that are not already aware of our resident buffoon Amaretto1, pay very little attention to this unbelievably uneducated fo_ol who since the early part of this year has repeatedly stated on these Advfn boards that there is no way that central banks would be increasing interest rates and yet here we are!

...But an even more compelling argument for his blatant incompetence is that inflation is transitory and has been caused solely by the war...So not exacerbated by it with decades long quantitative easing by governments then, hehe!...He even states a ceasefire will occur in June of this year and yet the head of NATO has repeatedly stated it will be a very long drawn out affair or better known as a war of attrition!

...So I'll say again take what little this 'Mug' states in future as he's just a fantasist and highly likely to be a fr_aud but I'm sure that's just inherent in part to his delightful culture.

...And to our resident buffoon, I'll take more than your fu_ckin pennies, if you get my drift!

Devonlad, it would be shareholder's saving grace if Merck consider the value of IP sufficient to provide finance to 4D to avoid the terms on the restrictive covenant. I hope that's the case because I don't like my fellow investors to get screwed over like I think they have here.

Given Duncan's pitiful performance his resignation would have little impact, certainly not enough to suspend the shares. Likely impact would be to put some bunting up at the AGM.

Keeping a watching brief I said, lost a lot but held a modest amount just for the history of the science. Hoping for the best, but with Duncan in charge I'm doubtful.

Maybe the clue is in the price, so a T/O bid at 82p?
With all the options (think total shares with options is around 240m), that's £200m.

Merck would go for that I'm sure.
