Over the past few years there has been a lot I've liked and disliked about 4D.

The overall premise of the microbiome and its potential to form effective therapeutics is absolutely vast and I feel absolutely certain the space has a future. The quality of the science has been excellent and the data we've had from the trials, so far, as much as we could have possibly hoped for. The work in oncology and asthma points the way to a potential breakthrough in medicine.

Although I expect high cash burn, the rate of progress and the data achieved for X million has been frustrating. For me, patient recruitment and trial commencement has also been slower than expected and disappointing.

I have also not liked the missed timed updates and radio silence on certain programs and trials. Not good.

But the trading of the stock, generally, has for me been the most bizarre aspect. It has warranted scrutiny imo.

I could be wrong but it does seem some absolute c*nt, somewhere in the world, has been trying their damn best to suppress us at every step.

Would you think that Merck would let all of the ip go to OF if they see any value in it at all? We will find out anyway soon. If it is bad news, good luck to Duncan at the AGM.

In the short term though, oil will probably dip on recession confirmation and the prospect of demand destruction, even though most would agree that is not the whole picture, whether or not they believe in conspiracy theories.

I would love that too porky9. Poetic justice indeed.

The only real positive here is that the science appears very sound and of excellent quality and the clinical data, to date, is as good as we could all possibly hope for.....albeit with less 'depth' than we would have liked at this stage.

They have something of value. Yes, it's effectively unfunded, but at least that unfunded thing is compelling and too good to throw away into the ether. Someone will want it.

Interested to see how this unfolds. Would bloody love it if he is securing a sale of all share capital to Merck or a big chunk of it at a fixed price and all those shorter's get fully shafted.... that really would be poetic justice.

knowing our luck it will be more bad news but you never know, saying that unless the business is closing down completely and even then the fire sale of everything is probably worth significantly more than the current market cap i remain positive. Can it really get much worse from here??? Time will tell

PS. Has LBPS been suspended. trading starts at 2.30 our time?
