*From the RFID Journal*.

RFID Reduces Inventory Time and Improves Visibility for Tile Maker . . . . . . .

Maruhachi Ceramics of America (MCA) is employing a radio frequency identification solution to track the locations of 50,000 pallets loaded with products, and has thereby reduced the amount of time needed to take inventory of its clay roofing tiles by 98 percent. The system also ensures that personnel know where a specific product is located when they need to load it onto a truck. The firm has expanded the deployment to include supplies and tools, to better ensure that components and materials required for manufacturing can be found when needed.

I don't suppose the GNP production process uses inordinately large quantities of prilled iodine by any chance?

No problem

Remember I'm on your side re Daley. I thought I must have misread you so checked your posts but we seem to have a similar view.

I agree Neill is a bloody hard worker.

And I agree with the copper foam but did say I had no idea re that. That came with carbide so yes most likely Elektron which you now confirm through your info.

If it helps it's the graphene advances causing the stir here which was added well after carbide and copper foam.

Carbide got hit but much of the loss is down to the factory move capital purchases and acquisitions.

Yes they will be tight on cash but they are careful with cash. There are not hoards of highly paid management like some.

Yes they may need to fund raise especially if orders for Nanene come in and they need to invest in equipment to scale up. Make hay while the sun shines etc.

Yes iL, good to see the backtests, I do wonder at what point a fundraising will take place , if needed, but that should be on the back of good news / orders so will have a positive impact.

yes nice to see some churn and not too much jumping around.

Most days so far it seems to have a bit more buying just before the day end, that could be book squaring of course if any forward supplying went on.

double uh!!!

I'm on your side.

I've been working off company registrations and the ulster tech not who was working with who and when.

It could be that Neill did have connections with the UNI via Elekron and that's why the Uni wanted Neill on board, but the specific company registration was 18 months after Neill left and was originally called MANCHESTER GRAPHENE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED (mid 2012) it them became 2D tech.

If you are right then fine, sorry and thanks for the info.

As the tech you miss is now available right here then the answer is obvious.

Ekt BEEN WORKING WITH MANCHESTER UNI A LONG TIME BEFORE VRS WAS LISTED NOW GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT.

THE TECHNOLOGY WAS A JOINT VENTURE WITH BOTH EKT and MU.

BE PREPARED TO APPOLOGISE.

NR RECEIVED EKTS SHARE AS PART OF A COMPROMISE DEAL WHEN NR LEFT EKT.

THOSE ARE THE FACTS.

Does it really matter? One order for £100K 3 months ago won't buy the emperor many new clothes will it? Hardly worth fighting over...

Still, I expect it will all change next year - like every other next year in vrs's existence ;¬)

EKT was working with Manchester UNI before he picked the technology up now get your facts right!!!!

You are wrong!!!

Now I suggest you call NR and get the low down if you don't you will make a number of EKT shareholders very angry indeed.

Then I expect an apology!

Simon I agree re Carbide and said I have no idea re the copper foam circs.

As for the graphene side and 2D tech I think you have that wrong and have previously had conversations with Neill about how they found 2D tech.

If it was with Elektron (which I seriously doubt) then yes Elektron were mad to allow it to slip through their hands.

BTW
Simon is a fan Neill and thinks he is a hard working boss which EKT should have held onto.

When VRS was created the CEO had no idea 2D tech existed, and VRS acquired 2D as a spin out from Manchester Uni. The 2D tech technology came from Ulster Uni.

Neill left Elektron in December 2010. As I understand it Ulster (from the research reports) hadn't made the breakthrough then.

hey ho I was only trying to help and currently believe Simon is completely wrong. Simon appears seriously p'd off with Elektron.

Not saying this is a bad company, but the current valuation looks high on the back of the increase loss warning given on 19 jan 2017. By my estimations its nearly out of cash with the greater than expected loss. It's YE 31 mar and it will have to do a fund raising before the auditors can sign off. £26m mkt cap looks to high for the risks IMHO. News flow ramp?

If you don't believe me call NR and ask him, I can assure you Elektron had the technology before NR renamed it under the Versarien umbrella.

Elektron Chairman virtually gave it away that is why EKT shareholders are aggrieved.
