I'm a bit slow at these things and this may already have been pointed out:
The watch launch showed a McLaren car (obviously not a real one) which had an intriguing pattern on it - namely black with the graphene carbon atom 'pattern' obviously intended to say graphene. So far so good.

However what I hadn't twigged was that the McLaren announcement of their unveiling of their car was simply a tweet, but importantly it was obviously not watch related, HOWEVER it had the same graphene pattern. Surely that can only be telling us that graphene is in the car and - importantly - they want to shout about it. Edit: Having said that I haven't found a single McLaren twitter since that repeats it. Ho hum.

Taking it a step further - a very big leap - edit: removed - far to fanciful.

Best wishes - Mike

Hastings appreciate you bringing this to a wider audience but speaking to company people won't update us on anything of significance we haven't already been told by our 'insider' sg1

Following the write up yesterday, I will now be speaking with the CEO and all being well someone at Cambridge Graphene.
I'll add some further comment on the back of that depending on what I can be updated on.

3 @ 18 v 1 @ 19.25

There is currently no supply because there are no sellers (yet).

if the association between F1 and graphene is confirmed then 20p will seem very cheap.

"Still keeps us guessing about F1 ( but IMO very likely GNP's in their new super cars)."

Hopefully we will find out very soon.

If the supply has gone then this could move very quickly, esp with the sort of demand we have seen in recent times.
More news could light the touch-paper.

Interesting comments from McLaren (Jonathan Neale, Chief Operating Officer, McLaren Technology Group) in this link to the watch launch that some may have missed.

p.s. only one at 18 now and it's not PEEL which is important!

Overhang gone by the looks of it.

Has it popped - Peel no longer on the offer for the first time in a while, which suggests their supply (certainly at this level) has finished.

Interestingly there have - so far - been no sellers, so traders are out, and any still in (new?) are looking for a higher level.
In short looking promising so far: 2 @ 17 v 1 @ 17.5 (I've just added a handful).

Best wishes - Mike

So you can see, If Mclaren are to launch a car with graphene in it. That guy is keenly interested in graphene and was before the market was aware.

So if graphene does appear in F1 then he no doubt will be the lead talking about it and now may well have a lead on what Boullier and Mclaren have been saying pre launch.

He understands graphene which is a very good bonus.

It shows how tight things are and how you have to spot things he had no clue.

Priestley was hired by McLaren in 2000 as a test team mechanic and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming No. 1 mechanic on the race team. He worked with drivers including Mika Häkkinen, David Coulthard, Olivier Panis, Kimi Räikkönen, Juan Pablo Montoya, Pedro de la Rosa, Alex Wurz, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Heikki Kovalainen. He was part of the team that won the F1 World Championship with Hamilton at the 2008 Brazilian Grand Prix.

Priestley left the team in 2009 to pursue a media career and began writing about the sport for various magazines and websites and provided previews and analysis of Grand Prix for TalkSport Radio amongst other international radio networks. In 2012 he joined Jennie Gow as pitlane reporter for BBC Radio 5 Live at the British Grand Prix.

Although continuing to write for many Formula One (F1) websites, as well as contributing articles for Autosport and F1 Racing magazines, Priestley began appearing as a guest on Sky Sports News and on the Sky Sports F1 Channel's dedicated studio show, The F1 Show. He also wrote many articles about his time at McLaren for his own website, f1elvis.com.[4]

Even this guy in this video (graphene potential for F1) ex Mclaren and now F1 presenter had no clue Mclaren may be about to add graphene. He does now and is now aware of the Mclaren racing director (Boullier )and other senior staff comments. So I'm sure questions are being asked today.

Mclaren dropped it in, they clearly wanted some attention and didn't get it but they will now.

Lucky orange, if VRS have what they claim, then 25p is very substantially underselling it.. I would expect the company to be taken out for a 3-figure SP, perhaps next year...Just my view NAI
