I sold my 140 Kaz at 195 (big mistake)that money is now in POS59,SIA135,EZJ1025. Not selling my VED at all.i will ride this rollercoaster till xmas2017 at least

I must be brave and stupid then? It was pretty depressing last Christmas I have to say... Been topping up on the way down, and will hold for a juicy profit. I was up after the Indian elections.

I get the feeling there ain't much individual investors in the big mining stocks compared to 2009 upturn it was awash then,but very quiet in 2016 I think a lot have been cleared out or afraid as been a terrible 5 years in commodities. Only the brave or stupid are left

hi bbd: yes, I have been here a few months. It looks like we have a similar perspective. I am here on a technical basis with long term charts as the main reference point. Key moving averages such at the 150 day and 200 day have turned back up and it could be a very profitable ride. There is a lot of recovery to go for. I think we are back in a resources bull. (I am also holding AAL and MARL and a basket of US mining stocks).

Rating Action: Moody's upgrades Vedanta Resources' CFR to B1 from B2; outlook stable
Global Credit Research - 13 Sep 2016
Singapore, September 13, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service has upgraded Vedanta Resources plc's (Vedanta) corporate family rating (CFR) to B1 from B2.

At the same time, Moody's has upgraded the company's senior unsecured rating to B3 from Caa1.

The rating outlook is stable.

An important breakout today, but similar are occuring elsewhere in the sector: grist to the mill for those who are convinced a bull market is back 'on' for resource stocks.
