Strange markets at times, hoc has moved from 38p to 280 (x7)in the time Ved has 190 to 510(Ved has a basket of commods including silver.just dosnt make sense, we are undervalued I'd say some wat not overvalued. Zincs chart is way ahead of precious metals lol

Shareholders of London-based Vedanta Resources Plc have approved the merger between its Indian subsidiary Vedanta and group firm Cairn India . The move would be another step in the way of Vedanta's plan to create an Indian private-sector mining behemoth spanning activities from oil to metals. The deal has been stuck after key minority shareholders LIC and Cairn Plc (which held residual stake following the company's sale to Vedanta Group) had refused to bid in favour following the initial merger announcement in June 2015. As per India company law, such a merger would require the approval of a majority of minority shareholders (about 20 percent of the roughly 40 percent minority stake in Cairn India -- with Vedanta holding the controlling 60 percent). LIC and Cairn Plc hold about 9 percent each. But in July this year, Vedanta sweetened its proposal, offering Cairn shareholders one equity share and four redeemable preference shares in Vedanta for every one share held, implying a 20 percent premium. Cairn India shareholders are yet to approve the deal.

Don't think it will reach 500p yet Just bought earlier today 518p as its reached bottom of my 'fork' channel charts If 520p support goes strongly all bets are off I reckon this is heading for final wave 5 to 670p area Imo
