I never follow spam posts recommending other stocks but I did have a closer look at ADM after that post and actually thought it was worth a punt. At these levels so is ULVR though so I’ll top up here too. GLA

Better to compensate the loss here with Admiral [ADM]. With great results and 118p dividend, it ticks all boxes and is the best opportunity to swap ULVR with ADM and recover losses probably today (was -250p) !

Crashing again. There has to be something fundamentally adrift with ULVR for the share price to keep behaving this way. It seems like some insiders already know. Sooner or later the skeleton will fall from the cupboard.

I suppose falling on uncertainty, costs going higher, margins squeezed. Still pricey p.e.

Terminal, take out oil and a handful of miners and most of dog index ftse 100 back to C19 lows. Shocking. I expect ftse and U.K. in general to continue to chronically under perform. There are no levers to pull, high taxes, parabolic inflation, falling wages in real terms and rising rates, plus a basket case government. ULVR has really been found out, pxxs poor management on a brexit covid tories sterling damaged index, it writes itself. The only hope now is a takeover, high energy costs ( paid for in USD with ever declining sterling ) a real hit for staples. Buy US shares and emigrate.

Purple, he does indeed and its totally ok to express it. Though tbh I would be more concerned by the erosion of Unilever's ability to innovate, it's constant cost cutting and the fact that there are swathes of complacent and mediocre management. Ben and Jerry's is a little side show.

Giltedge1, you sound like an angry late middle aged conservative man. Chill out and try to remember what it was like when you were young and wanted to change the world for the better and not just grub around trying to make money on other peoples effort.

Are these idiots at Ben & Jerry going to stop selling icecream to Moscow?.
Where do you draw the line, soon they will only be selling to Monks.

Poor old Lindsell Train, his U.K. equity getting destroyed on stuff like this ulvr crxp and worse HL shares which are getting abso decimated today. Buy US growth. Ftse 100 propped up by AZ, some miners and an anaemic recovery in shell/bp ( still at a 25 pc discount to US and Euro oil companies, brexit the gift that keeps giving ). Without those the index is barely above march 2020. Omfg.

Bloomberg are running anti Unilever ice cream reporting after ULVR stopped selling it in Isreal as a woke political protest.

They are urging others to boycott ULVR ice cream.
Bloomberg are a jewish owned channel that would never question Israeli foreign policy.

These are powerful people with influence, the idiot that decided to make such a futile gesture should be sacked.

They should sell ice cream to anyone that wants to buy it and keep out of politics.

I wonder when Nelson Peltz letter will arrive. I suspect it will before his daughter marries B Beckham. He'll surely want this off his plate before his beloved marries into British aristocracy.I'd not rule out next 14 days. It will make for very interesting reading. My suspicion is it will involve consolidation on Food and HPC and have implications for a few other household names !

Nick, Reckitt has arguably talked a better game than they have delivered over the
last few years.

Look at the huge expectations at the time of MJ acquisition, what happened since..
