11/2/2022 14:10 | Unilever’s plan A was to make a huge acquisition; plan B is not to make one, or at least not “for the foreseeable future”. Boardroom U-turns do not come much more screeching. Chief executive Alan Jope referenced a “strong message” from shareholders about their opposition to a £50bn tilt at GlaxoSmithKline&rsqu | zho

11/2/2022 08:47 | Yep great update from TATE, only weakness was in the business they have sold 50% of, now focused on growth areas. | spoole5
11/2/2022 08:43 | i wouldnt read much into the bounce. the way the company is viewed over the last couple of years, its now seen as a defensive, so it bounces a bit if the mkt overall has a bad day. if the americans recover the situation in the afternoon i expect unilever shares will soften. tbh they should look at what tate have done/are doing. thats the way forward. shrink to grow. | roguetraderuk

10/2/2022 15:54 | they said prices will go up but volumes will suffer. that says that the brands cant cope with the hikes (but p&g similar brands managed to do the job). this is due to investing in the wrong areas of those brands. they shot and missed. time for someone else else they change direction of where they are aiming. | roguetraderuk
10/2/2022 15:26 | EPS are not a good yardstick imo, owners earnings is the acid test, the share price performance over 3yrs compared to it's peers doesn't lie.Jope needs to step aside imo. | contrarian joe

10/2/2022 12:50 | * 1% buy back contribution to EPS. Debt observation valid, but net off the tea disposal proceeds to come. New buy back is over 2 years. | essentialinvestor |
