interesting aquilla - I'm not that clued up on the take over code - normally predators go hostile....shame for DMCI as they could have saved some money by buying in the market. Rules are Rules.

Aquilla - do you expect the company to give us some guidance this week?

"I guess IF DMCI are soaking up the sells then they must be closer to 50%."

To clear up that point:

I have been told by the advisor to DMCI that DMCI is not allowed to buy in the market unless the Board recommends the offer. Hence the reason why we are not seeing any announcements about an increase in shareholding...they are NOT buying any!

Hopefully we will have comment from the company tomorrow. We don't have that long until its decision time and at this rate most holders will have made a decision before the company get around to making an announcement.

One assumes Fevamotinico will NOT accept otherwise they would have committed already. Interesting week ahead.

What happens if DMCI could not get 50% shares, do we move back to the old days of 25-28p range or can we sustain 40's level

haha, you seem to have high hopes from the BOD. If I were you, I think 6 weeks response period will be over around 15th April, so expect a response by 17th or 18th April. They will only start preparing a document from 16th April onwards ;-)))))))))))))))))0

get real this management suck-always have done-acted in their own self interests and put shareholders last.
If i ever see any of these directors acting in any shape or form for any other company I will stay well clear.
Everyone has an opinion-thats mine.
Good luck to all

Cheers, Oli!

It's been fun as well, especially getting to visit the mine itself!
Likewise I've got to meet some great people, sometimes in person and sometimes through the medium of the internet.

All in all, a great experience!

I think it's not too bad as BOD are delaying a bit as hopefully the money from offer will count as capital gain tax for next year

Aquilla THANK YOU for all your time, opinion(s) and hard work over the last few years. I have no doubt that your efforts via this BB and the TGL have contributed towards the offer - no matter what happens between now and April your contribution has been like TMC somewhat undervalued!

I read many of the BBs on here and this is one of the best ones - thank you to all regular posters - even shareho1der and aqui11a - everyone is entitled to an opinion some you win some you lose. Good luck to all holders going forward.

Nick if I was that good then I would have retired along time ago. Everything on AIM has its risks... I've had some failures - Timan Oil and Gas a woeful tail. I'm watching Enegi Oil but it has failed to deliver for now....

Oli which shares do you think can be less riskly and may be multibag in near future. I need to think about investing elsewhere when we get our TMC money hopefully @50P

Ok ! Last word from me !
I think , that FEV know they can`t have TTMC , I suspect they may never , have wanted TMC .
What they probably do want is a favourable long term supply contract .
DMCI `could` accommodate , FEV `could` still make waves , and even irritating ripples could destabilise the new ship .

ps ! ........also fwiw this has been a really nice thread ; I`m now enjoying :
LAM , GDL and TPL ;>)

I also agree, thats why i stil hold with belief that FEV would respond.....i'll ee how things pan out but at the end of the day i can earn close on 4% by keeping hold of my shares for another month...

I absolutely agree with you Boobly. I had a same feeling that FEV has been doing sod all for all these years so why would he want TMC now. But on the other hand I can't fathom that he will walk away with 50p per share as it's a kind of loose change to him.
