volume still LOW considering the price being offered which to me suggests private PI's are keeping their powder dry we have 50p on the table here AND the chance of a higher offer.... I admit I would sell some this AM if I could get 50p however I'm not being mugged by the MM's and accepting less.

DMCI sells stake to Feva @ 60p. They then make unconditional cash offer for balance @ 60p.

Before anyone screams "why did JC sell @50p" without JC selling this merry go round wouldn`t have started.

You reckon? If that's the case then clearly there's nobody thinking that there will an alternative bid then. (or at least, thinking it and acting upon that thought!)

Interesting that it's all buys. Presumably if this keeps on all day the MMs will ahve to find that stock from somewhere, and that will require raising the share price to tempt out some more sellers. But why the buyers, when there's so little to be made at only 50p on offer. Are they just punting in the ho9pes of a higher bid or is there a whisper that there will be. Interesting....

I realise that Fev hold a 25% blocking stake, but would they really want to be a minority holder in TMC with DMCI so much in control?

I think they will bid or sell out...cant see them hanging around under such circumstances, unless they just want an investment without much hands on involvement

Lost touch with TMC ; have a few shares at a loss in a SIPP. What's the view on a likely take out price bearing in mind a 20% holding was sold to the now mandatory bidder at 50p? Can anyone see a decent premium to this or will other major holders settle for 50p? Views welcomed.

I guess DMCI have instructed their broker to buy any stock available as they will need stock to push this take over through.

You will always get shareholders not prepared to wait. The mms are taking full advantage of any impatient sellers.
I've been in this long, I'm quite happy to wait this one out.

I'm surprised we are not squeezed closer to the 50p mark.

not that many trades so far considering...shows how few shares are available in the market...everyone is sitting tight..... where is Aquilla after all his hard work, site visits and faith he deserves to make some money here.

Congratulations to all holders!!
I take the weekend away from the BB and I come back to find nearly a hundred posts and a bid!!
One little point to remember: When JC (the other JC) sold his shares he sold 5% to Fev. There was a reason. This pushed Fev up to 25%, enough to make a blocking holding.
As the saying goes: "It ain't over till the fat lady sings!"
