Which one is next could be the moot question.

Yet another company that will not return future value to shareholders apart from early entrants. Well done traders hard luck investors, that seems to be the way of things these days.
But interesting that Nickel producers have their price.

I agree Mike BUT you can sell today for 48p I would have thought there would have been more sellers at this price - the difference between 48p & 50p is minimal considering the wait involved for 50p. I get the feeling holders want and expect more - some investors have been here for many years with averages well over 50p.

The volume today is largely irrelevent - it merely represents the shares sold by people who dont want to wait for the offer docs and wait for the full 50p to come their way.

red box - interestingly, before the offer, monthly money flow was majorly massively up with no real proper shift in share price movement. if BoD could drag this out for a few months with the old 'we think the offer undervalues the company' line, then given that the build-up in money flow was already there pre-offer, we could have movement up....issues at 83p as per long term EMA. is 83p reasonably for an offer price?

I would imagine DMCI care as they need shares and the support of the company to take this over at 50p per share - at the moment they have 37.7% support only with surprisingly low volume today on what is a good offer.

IF the company FEV and World Fund back the 50p price then the rest is a formality however that is not a forgone conclusion yet....

MD88 why cut and run? Have Ferv promised anything? Not that I recall. IF the deal goes forward we are ok for 50p. Not however,I hasten to add does me any favours.

Good luck all, time to cut and run, do not trust ferv one bit.

So just under 500,000 shares traded which is less than 1% of the market cap - people clearly think a higher offer is coming.... TMC have updated th website -

DMCI Mining Corporation 37.7%
Fevamotinico SARL and associated companies 25.18%
World Fund PTE Limited 5.02%

Total 67.9%

(TLG owns around 5%) There is still 27% up for grabs!

will Fev and World Fund get together?

well - congratulations to all who held for this...ok it isn't the £1 a share people had been commenting previously but it is the highest this has been for some time.

edward, DMCI will be buying everything, they can save a penny or so and reduce the amount they need to buy at 50p

Rather than counter bidding I can see Fev blocking this, engaging in a long war of attrition and the share price falling back to 25p. The board of this company hasn't given a flying you know what for PIs for years. Can't see that changing. So I've taken 1p a share less the JC. Am not crying. GLA and if you do better than me, so be it. Am just glad to get my money out at a vv healthy profit.

Oh well, sold out.. I remember the days when these went to £4 and I sold at £2.80 from 60p. Still a return is a return right. I could never work out why, after all the promises, these never made it big.

From Proactive Investors:

".....Commenting on the offer, Isidro Consunji, chairman and chief executive of DMCI Mining, said: "We are very pleased to have increased our investment in Toledo with the acquisition of Mr Cropper's shares. Our offer to the remaining Toledo shareholders represents an attractive opportunity to crystallise a significant premium to the prevailing market price in cash today."
