Not the most sophisticated bot I have ever seen at work..but it still works
Just keep capping the price and bump it down 0.5p at a time...nice

Naughty TSCO..you are not allowed above 162p
In fact you are not now allowed above 161.5
And if you don't stop trying you will be pushed back under 161p
So STOP it !

I've always thought that limiting the strength of booze would be a more effective way of controlling the excesses, a binge drinker should need fifteen pints to get just a bit tiddly. :-)

A couple of years ago Russia brought in a minimum price for Vodka which has since seen a reduction in the amount of Vodka being drunk by around 15%.

Has anyone notice how up until the 90´s the average bottle of white wine was around 9% alcohol, while now days it´s more like 11.5%, similarly the alcohol content of red wine has also increased by 2 1/2% which I understand was purposely done by the wine producers.

Logan but the service is atrocious and so is the store presentation and range (or lack of) produce. I freely admit I tried to switch as there is one Lidl nearby but too often you can't get what you need so have to go elsewhere anyway. Now TSCO have dropped prices for KVIs I think you'll see them hold or regain their market share. Went to said Lidl the other day. Got about 1/2 what I needed. Too often this happens and then the trust and appeal is eroded.

Tesco down on news sainsbury likely to report sales down 2%+ on Wednesday. Well I shopped in Tesco ' s today for my cricket teas & found them a lot cheaper than the last time. Perhaps the tide is turning. Sainsbury ' s bad news may well be good news for the likes of tesco/morrisons as Ali & lidl unlikely to be gaining much more market share.

Sadly Tesco is reminding me more and more of M&S.

M&S was the first retailer to make £1bln (£4bln in todays money)profit as it did in 1989 and at its height was worth £14bln plus. Over the past 10 years it has had an average profit of just £600mln and worth just £5.8bln.

It seems to me that Tesco´s is going the way of M&S, in 10 years time when one looks back and say remember when they were making £3bln in profit and the company was worth double 20 years ago then it is today.

In my view by then Aldi and Lidl will have a combined market share of well over 15%, with Aldi being one of the big 4 supermarkets.

Jordaggy, just read your post 17694 and it made me laugh, but knowing how the EU runs it wouldn't surprise me.

I'm just wondering, did you type all that out(headache inducing) or cut and paste to save the headache?

vaneric, The problem I have is that I don't really have an opinion one way or the other, however the fact that so many people I despise are pleading with us to stay "IN" and of course are making up all the ridiculous scare stories then it will probably have me voting "OUT".
