Cannot buy any shares on-line at the moment - maximum the brokers seem to be prepared to part with is 5,000 shares at 5.5p, whereas I can sell 200K on-line at 5.3625p, seems the brokers have a real shortage of stock at the moment

I look forward to steady growth within the available means - would hate to see them get carried away again together with the associated uncontrollable financial pressures.

Also worth noting the 99k buy at 5.60p after the bell taking the total to over 250k; today looks like it was a turning point

Looks like the start of the share price rerating probably due to the potential news flow outlined in the last statement. When the retention is sorted and we close the next project these will look extremely undervalued.

Here's the statement from 26 June 2013:

"At the Meeting, Non-Executive Chairman, Rory Maw made the following statement:

I am pleased to report that your company has made very significant progress in the last 12 months. We returned to growth and we achieved some very important milestones for the Group, not least achieving Financial Close on the flagship Dagenham development.

The Board is delighted with the continued development of the Group's operational businesses. Revenues and margins improved yet again in 2012 and 2013 has started well. Our strategy is to grow this side of the business, thereby creating a less volatile source of earnings and cashflow and increasing underlying, sustainable value for our shareholders. It was pleasing for us to announce the milestone of having recycled over 1 million tonnes of organic waste, which we have diverted from landfill over the lifetime of the Group. Furthermore, the Board was delighted to announce further contract wins in 2013 in Shropshire, Nottinghamshire and Perth & Kinross.

There have also been some encouraging developments on the projects side of the Group during the last 12 months. The continued progress of our Perth AD plant is pleasing and we have now been generating power for over 12 months. Furthermore, the financial closure of the Dagenham project was a significant milestone and I am pleased to report that construction is proceeding well and we fully expect to achieve construction completion on time and budget. This is a high profile project and we hope it can be used as a springboard for further ventures.

Unfortunately, I am unable to report a conclusion to the ongoing financial retention issues relating to the Manchester contracts. We continue to work hard to secure their release and we have put in place further resource to manage certain projects, aimed at bringing this contract to a conclusion allowing the release of the retentions.

Turning to strategic developments, the Group is looking forward to reaching financial close on the next project, likely to be a further combined IVC and AD facility, this time at one of the Simpro sites in the Midlands. We have received provisional offers of funding and are negotiating to secure the best terms for shareholders. The complex funding structure at Dagenham was appropriate for that project, but it resulted in limited equity participation for the Group. The Board is therefore exploring opportunities to try to gain a more significant equity holding in this venture, consistent with our strategy to grow the "Build Own Operate" operational activities. We believe this approach will deliver more direct, long-term value to our shareholders and we are currently examining financing options, which we hope to bring to fruition in the near future.

The waste market continues to develop in favour of TEG, with landfill tax rising and legislation forcing increased diversion of waste from landfill. The wider regulatory environment is also now benefitting the Group with very few other competing IVC technologies now able to meet the stringent environmental standards required. With a strong and growing operational business, a successful move into anaerobic digestion, excellent progress on the Dagenham project and the end of the Manchester contract within sight, the Board is confident that the Group has a promising outlook.

Whilst challenges remain, we look forward to further exciting developments in the not too distant future".

Space, just flicked on to see how TEG was doing. I sold out a while ago swallowing a non biodegrade able loss. You deserve a medal for staying power! Best luck

I think it's destined to run for a bit; however, TEG can at least demonstrate the tenacity to see it through and learn for the future.

I am sure there will be some commentary on Manchester in the interims but doubt that we will have financial closure given as they said at the AGM they are looking for mid 2014.
I note that Costain in their interims earlier in the week are still having issues though of course their contract is completely different.

Hi Space, the market is a future discounting price mechanism, generally looking forward 18-24 months so on that timescale I would hope for a glimmer on the shareprice
Waste / AD sites consume alot of capital to set up and not huge profit earners especially as the recyclate prices move up and down as much as commodities. Howver with "Green" issues on our side and legislation being a positive, I will try to keep positive and not sell out aka ALK ...ouch

Oddly enough there was someone supplying and recycling nappies into products, instead of landfill, on Dragon's Den last night and there were at least 2 Dragons muttering about how difficult the recycling market was. I guess its an odd mixture of changing legislation, plus local council policy, plus budgetary constraints, which makes for an unpredictable market.

Bet,

The impact of the GMA authority issues have a plagued us in recent times and it will take a while for the positives to overcome that spectre. It will happen, but will take time.

As a long term holder of TEG i have to say i believe there is good value in this shareThe AGM statement of 26th June (below) would appear positive but the price has gone nowhere but down for years, so forgive me if I am cynical at times........ poor you for selling ALK. I suspect that given a long term holding, TEG will pay back handsomely. One thing I WOULD like to see is the wrapping up the GMA contracts just to provide closure and the ability to move on.

Otherwise I'm firmly dedicated to a longterm holding here

Agreed Spaceparallax, good buying opportunity, so I took another 28,070 at 5.4p. News must be imminent on the new project to be launched in the Midlands, Dagenham on time and budget, mangement very upbeat on trading for this year, no brainer IMO, DYOR etc.
