Posted at 20/9/2023 07:23 by adamb1978 No, I dont think soAdjusted PBT looks flat. EPS of just under 18p for H1 which more than supports the market forecasts of 32p for the year. So its on a PE of <9, net cash, decent ROE and ROCE, dividend increased....looks cheap |
Posted at 21/8/2023 13:07 by adamb1978 Yes, as above. Seemed market related rather than related to TEG. Small caps are going to be under pressure until interest rates are seen to have peaked and then start to come down. At the moment, for some investors gettin 4%-5% risk free trumps chasing hgher returns from equities, and particularly small capsI dont think we're far off that point given that inflation is falling rapidly and if you look at the last 3 month average CPI, its at 1.5% er month, so <2% annualised. Even Core CPI on that basis is around 4% from memory. All you can do is hold companies which are performing well and trading at undemanding multiples in the meantime |
Posted at 13/6/2023 07:22 by adamb1978 Yes, far too cheap. Divi payment date today too I believe |

Posted at 23/4/2023 11:25 by johndoe23 33.9p EPS forecast for FY'25. On a PE of 10-12 that's a share price of 340-400p. Not expecting explosive growth but a nice divi whilst waiting! |
Posted at 11/4/2023 07:30 by adamb1978 Good update from BOWL this morning. Hopefully further supports the very low TEG price |
Posted at 30/3/2023 15:47 by adamb1978 Markets seem a bit more 'risk on' today. TEG isn't going to double overnight but its a safe hold which could easily return double digit %s for a few years given the low multiple its on today and returns which it generates. Attractive risk/reward in my view |
Posted at 22/3/2023 08:54 by loganair All looking good, now no debt, dividend rising etc...on my scale of -5 to +5 I give these set of results a solid +3.Full year free cash flow of GBP27.2m Move from net debt to GBP10.1m of net cash at year end Final dividend of 7p per share recommended; 3p interim paid in October 2022 |
Posted at 22/3/2023 07:12 by johndoe23 Outstanding results, confident outlook 7p final divi |
Posted at 17/2/2023 08:55 by adamb1978 Hi gswredland,Yes, agreed. Whilst we can debate precision on numbers I think the TU tells us that this is a company which is: - trading on a single digit PE, probably in the 8x-9x range - significant discount to BOWL - will likely have a dividend reinstated this year, which I expected will be perhaps at a 3%-4% yield level - generates decent ROE and ROCE - has been trading well, and retail sales figures this morning can probably be read across to bowling too in terms of consumer spending - now net cash (excl leases) Looking forward to the results in a month or so. Going to be interesting what they say about capital allocation and the balance between growth spending, dividends, buybacks etc Adam |
