24/1/2013 09:25 | Morning all.The cunning MMs seem be all over the place this AM. With a test buy I`m being offered 10k @ 7.25p but then 20k @ 6.14p. Nice to see some blue this morn though. We`ve been higher for while inspite of the lack of acknowledgement in the indication price quoted in the market. | alfieduncan
24/1/2013 08:46 | Manipulating the price is a good word, another decent premium buy at 6p with no movement in price. | 34simon
23/1/2013 18:07 | Told you this will rerate with no stock out there, 6p paid for size, bet there is next to nothing available at that 5.75p offer. | 34simon
23/1/2013 15:47 | Some weighty (relatively) trades marked today. Best so far, a buy for 107,496 (what a bizarre number!) which went through at 6.0p i.e. 0.25p above the offer price. Current prices (for 25k) - 5.375/5.75p. | ansc
23/1/2013 08:51 | Got another 10k at 5.45p only because of the 10k sale, shut down the buy limits again no quote for 10k, I will leave it for now mm,s manipulating the price and limits. | 34simon
23/1/2013 08:43 | That's odd. I could sell or buy 25k (5.105/5.5p) online first thing this morning. edit: Just re-tried, prices now 5.15/5.49p. | ansc
23/1/2013 08:32 | Tried to buy 50k more no quote, 25k no quote and then 10k no quote to buy. | 34simon
22/1/2013 22:26 | If small buys are paying full offer you might get a rise much quicker than you think, there really is not much stock out there otherwise they would not be charging full offer for such small amounts. | 34simon
22/1/2013 11:03 | Hopefully we are now back on track; however, patience will be required because it will take time for TEG to regain the Mkt's confidence after the problems of a year or so back. That said, we're operating in a sector that offers real value and whose future is strong because of the influence of landfill legislation, need for renewable energy and the move away from peat based composts. | spaceparallax
22/1/2013 09:57 | I do not mind waiting especially when holding a stock I know is trading well, bit like PTCM when that was at 5p, at some point you know it will trade higher, they are now 10p in just a month, I'm looking for 50% profit here so around 7.5p upwards. | 34simon
21/1/2013 16:38 | welcome, hope you enjoy the ride. | spaceparallax
21/1/2013 15:51 | Bought a few times today, been wanting in since the trading update but been a overhang but not now as had to buy in smaller lots as 15k max online. | 34simon
18/1/2013 13:18 | Ever hopeful... it`s possible the 400k was a buy! I was told a while ago that some large trades are reported up to three days after they`ve been executed. However recent ones do look more like sells. Of course the MMs would argue that to report all large trades at the time of execution could adversely upset the price and cause,in this case,a downward run on the share price. Of course the MMs can and do take full advantage of our ignorance. They would also point out that the larger orders can take sometime to complete and accordingly will only report them when the entire order has been filled. My hunch though is that buys are outstripping sells and that the bigger boys and girls are accumulating rather than offloading. IMO in the long run, after the short term push me pull me tactics have run their course,we should go in a northerly direction. Hold tight people | alfieduncan
18/1/2013 10:47 | I noticed that the Money Makers didn't have time to report a 400k sale (@ 5.0p) until well after the market closed last night. Another of the cunning ploys they're allowed to get away with thanks to the toothless LSE regulators. To give investors an even playing field, they should be required to report each trade as and when it takes place. I hadn't spotted either that PG added another 500k (on the 9th). | ansc
14/1/2013 11:07 | There should be more than enough to go around. | spaceparallax
14/1/2013 09:52 | ansc I too was interested in reading the Shanks announcement. To be fair this is just part of a 25 year £750m deal with Wakefield. Interested to see that the UK Green Investment Bank will be involved; had not appreciated this bank was up and running. On their website they express interest in financing waste schemes and one of their two agents is Foresight who put together the financing of the Dagenham deal. The Bank's website is See what they wrote about the AD part of it; this is a bigger deal than Dagenham as it will power 3k houses and Dagenham just 2k and does 65k tonnes pa compared to Dagenham's 49k. I would have thought that Dagenham who have a much bigger catchment area than Wakefield would be bigger. It would be interesting to know the quality differences between TEG's technology and Shanks' and also illustrates the fact that TEG's technology is not the only game in town. quote The remaining organic waste will be treated using a state-of-the-art autoclave, which has already been built and undergone rigorous testing. This process will sterilise the remaining material before it is fed into a 65,000 tonnes per annum anaerobic digestion ('AD') plant, where it will be converted into biogas for renewable energy generation. This will both power the plant and export energy back to the grid; it is estimated that the process will generate sufficient green energy to power approximately 3,000 homes. The residue from the AD process will be used as a nutrient-rich soil conditioner. Green waste will be processed via an enclosed air controlled composting plant. The final compost material will be used for improving land remediation schemes across the Wakefield District and wider market and a proportion made available for use by the Wakefield District's residents. unquote | cerrito
14/1/2013 08:13 | Unlike TEG who appear to struggle for fund raising most of the time, Shanks had no such problem apparently with their huge Wakefield development announced this morning. Bigger is better then. Don't tell my wife! | ansc
11/1/2013 16:36 | It`s down but the bid is higher and in size. Someone just got 5.125p for 100k. I`m now more convinced that the big trades, that went through earlier, were buys. Hold tight all. | alfieduncan
11/1/2013 12:23 | It's just one element along with the bashing teams that operate throughout these BBs. No doubt it will one day be resolved. | spaceparallax
11/1/2013 11:21 | It never ceases to amaze me why the LSE allow MMs, or Money Makers as I prefer to call them, to get away with all their devious tactics/ploys. No matter how large or small the company is, if you monitor trades marked each day as I try to do, you soon get to spot an obvious 'mistake'; a favourite one is where there is suddenly a huge jump in their spread quote which then makes what is obviously a 'buy' look like a 'sale'. As if they haven't got enough in their favour already especially so now that the old NMS has disappeared! | ansc
11/1/2013 10:59 | Morning all. The trades!! I think it`s a duplication typo.If you look at yesterdays trade register you can see that these 250k x 4 have already been reported. The times recorded match exactly. Sorry to be distrustful of the MMs but this ``error`` could shake a few holders out as they look like sells today. However they were reported as `Y` (late trade) yesterday morning and in my opinion were executed at the start of trading on Thursday. If they were all sells I think we would have dropped back a bit. | alfieduncan
11/1/2013 10:27 | what's with the 250k x 4 trades? | ibs7491
11/1/2013 10:22 | No problem. Don't often see a positive report on TEG at least not since they traded at 50p+ (Long road back to that level but does look to be a solid investment at this point). IMHO | waterloo01
11/1/2013 10:04 | thanks for that | spaceparallax |
