27/9/2012 10:06 | Happy with that | spaceparallax
27/9/2012 07:13 | Interims broadly as expected. Update on Manchester PFIs: still no client acceptance, but now expecting retentions in 4th quarter. | 18bt
26/9/2012 11:20 | any takers here before tomorrows results? tempted to top up | angus17
10/9/2012 17:49 | Peter Gyllenhammar doing the same think now holding 6.7% Tracking the rest of PG's holdings on the WAM thread | praipus

04/9/2012 12:54 | I've suggested to Vince cable that AD is tailor made to help trigger economic recovery. Schemes can be small or large and dotted all over the country where feedstock is readily available - it's great infrastructure with multiple wins including waste management, compost generation and gas generation. Such a contrast to mad schemes like HS2 that offer little except huge bills until the whole lot's complete and even then with questionable value. | spaceparallax
04/9/2012 10:27 | maybe the gov't are just keen to be seen to be doing something! I bet we have got a better deal than we would have done if the private sector were funding it. | angus17
04/9/2012 10:24 | To me interesting that they need public funding for the Dagenham Plant. The Perth plant which is I recognize 1/3rd approx of the size of Dagenham was done with private funding- the VCT's of Albion in whom I am a shareholder. While of course early days Perth seems to be going OK and its value has been written up in Albion's books so why are the private sector so reluctant to get involved in Dagenham?; wonder if the Welsh Government has funds for the North Wales deal that is in abeyance. | cerrito
04/9/2012 08:17 | Shares in recycling and environmental services firm TEG (LON:TEG) soared today as it pushed forward with a project to turn London's rubbish into energy. TEG will have a 24.5 per cent stake in the Dagenham project. It is an anaerobic digestion (AD) biomass plant, which plans to process 49,000 tonnes of food and green waste at the London Sustainable Industries Park. | lucky_punter
03/9/2012 22:59 | Out of the £16m from Sep 2012 to Q1 2014, I expect the bulk of it to be recognised in 2013. So still expecting FY2012 to come in a slight loss, in line with current forecast. But I am now expecting circa £1-2m profit in FY 2013. At the current market cap of £12.5m, that's an undemanding PE of between 6 and 10. I would expect TEG to trade at a 2013 PE of closer to 15. At £1m expected minimum profit for 2013, that would work out to market cap of £15m. At £2m expected profit for 2013, that is £30m. So my expectation is the shares are worth at least 7.8p, and maximum 15.6p at the moment. These are of course my own assumptions, and different investors will view the situation differently and have different max/min ranges of fair value :) | boonkoh
03/9/2012 15:58 | I think 10p is conditionally on a positive update on Manchester (retentions released etc) and some interim results showing decent trading on the owned plants incl Simpro. | 18bt
03/9/2012 14:20 | Steady. The potential remains but TEG are currently in the making good phase where they need to prove that the travails of recent months are behind them. | spaceparallax
03/9/2012 13:54 | Should soon get back over 10p now - surely. | someuwin
03/9/2012 11:05 | Impressive... "Commenting, Mick Fishwick, Chief Executive, said: "We are delighted to have achieved Financial Close for the AD and IVC project in Dagenham. This will be the first AD plant in London and we expect it to be a flagship plant for the Company, making a significant contribution to London becoming a model European city for recycling. We look forward to working closely with the Foresight Group and our other partners in TEG Biogas (London) Limited, and we hope this will be the first of a number of ventures together. This project not only secures GBP16 million of revenue under the EPC contract but in addition we can look forward to the benefit of substantial recurring revenues through the 15-year Operating and Maintenance Contract. These contracts are important milestones in the development of TEG and further endorse our technology and expertise in the sector". Business Secretary, Vince Cable said: "This project represents the first waste investment in the run up to the establishment of the UK Green Investment Bank and sends a clear message to the market and to potential co-investors that we are committed to investing in the UK's green infrastructure". The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, said: "This GBP21million investment into Dagenham is fantastic news providing new employment opportunities. TEG is also the first to start building at our new industrial park, which I have committed GBP10million to transform from brownfield land into an attractive space for businesses. We want the London Sustainable Industries Park to become a magnet for energy and environmental enterprises to support hundreds of new jobs. "It is also good news that TEG becomes London's first anaerobic digestion plant providing an innovative, environmentally friendly way to manage the city's waste, helping to cut down on costly landfill. Through the London Green Fund and Foresight, my team has worked closely with TEG to secure the finance for this plant and we are set to support more facilities of this nature across the capital working with boroughs and the London Waste and Recycling Board." | someuwin
03/9/2012 11:00 | Great news - something on which TEG need to steadily build. The share price recovery will gradually follow to reward a good, ethical business with great potential. | spaceparallax
03/9/2012 10:41 | That is a correct number as well as conclusion! | baner
03/9/2012 10:35 | If ADVFN is correct the market cap is only £9m which looks well undervalued. | the shuffle man
03/9/2012 08:31 | This also makes TEG much more attractive for predators! Maybe time for Costain to sharpen their knives, they certainly have the cash and TEG is very cheap today...... | baner
03/9/2012 08:00 | Excellent news. Everything in place including planning and s106s. This really should unperpin the company's future provided construction goes according to plan. Let's hope for a dryish Autumn to get the groundworks done before winter. We'll need to look carefully at the contract accounting at the year end, but £16m of revenue over 18 months is a big contribution to the forecasts out there. Some reward for those of us who threw everything into the open offer I hope. | 18bt
03/9/2012 07:20 | some good news at last | angus17
24/8/2012 17:14 | As a TEG shareholder, I was interested to read the following in yesterday's statement from Costain in whom I also have shares quote In the Waste sector, the Group is currently completing Europe's largest waste PFI contract for the Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority. Several of the key facilities on the scheme, which utilises a range of sophisticated waste management technologies, have been handed over, with the remainder still in the commissioning phase and commercial discussions regarding completion continuing. unquote Made me rather queasy as regards TEG given their comments in the prelims of the retentions that TEG has in this deal. | cerrito
16/8/2012 21:43 | CARBon up at the close:-)...perhaps | praipus
16/8/2012 15:44 | SKS being bid up today surprised there isnt at least a little uptick here. | praipus
06/8/2012 11:36 | P - Good idea for a VCT thread; though from what I've seen I'll stick to my Private Equity plays, as per the PE thread. Holdings there now APEF, HPEQ, NRI & PIN + a small holding in SPPC. Timbo - these should be right up your street I would have thought... | skyship |
