28/11/2016 15:28 | Imho, if gold takes off or an Altintepe cash distribution announcement is made this price range will disappear like a rat up a drainpipe! | charles clore
28/11/2016 13:26 | Just me with a top up :-) and have another limit order placed.... | flavio_monteiro

27/11/2016 16:31 | And, with the rising price of copper I also wonder if we could see some movement at Muratdere | charles clore
26/11/2016 18:44 | Understandable that a 67 year old chairman is stepping down. I don't get too excited about board changes when the person is past retirement age. As his current replacement is 74 years old, it looks like this is just a holding position until they can get a suitable replacement - they may have someone already in mind or a shortlist but waiting until the handover can happen. Altintepe still making money and no bad news being brought up - only thing to query right now is what is going on over at Goldstone. | glibgibon
25/11/2016 16:48 | Have a great weekend all! | greedfear

25/11/2016 12:02 | Extension drilling was in progress, they should have some or all results by now | danieldruff2
25/11/2016 12:00 | The key to today's retirement is that Hall was, in my view, a bit of a dictator. I was very worried that he might try to reign in, or control, the new CEO but thankfully that will not be the case. Having met the fellow he seemed somewhat aloof to the private investor, whilst always being polite, he was more suited to the industry professional circuit. In a nutshell he was not a friend of the retail shareholder. A few folks I know, who operate in the junior mining space, had very strong opinions of him. I am delighted with today's news, truly delighted, there is clearly a see change going on at Stratex. I will attend next weeks Mines & Money event with renewed confidence. I would draw readers attention to a point that was promoted at the recent presentation. There appears to be new confidence about an extended mine life. I wonder what has caused this? | tadtech
25/11/2016 11:41 | Chris hall never bought any shares to demonstrate faith in the company he was a director of. All the while paying company money to crony broker firms to claim the co. was worth much more. Good riddance, there is a special place in hell for such people. | shoggoth
25/11/2016 11:04 | He's been on a nice earner and showed little to no concern to shareholders. He was happy to dismiss any concerns we held and had considerably less shares than most here. | steve1905
25/11/2016 10:17 | Blobby the BOD was a cushy club of Geo mates and at last we have a long needed experienced new broom. | corguv
25/11/2016 10:14 | Guess he is temporary Juju | corguv
25/11/2016 10:13 | If the answer is 3 above then he should have been fired straight away, but I think this is the most unlikely scenario. | blobby
25/11/2016 10:10 | Hope new guy is temporary. He doesnt come with a good track record and too old | juju44
25/11/2016 10:08 | Corguv, there are a number of possibilities for the events of 22nd December 2014. 1. If Christopher Hall was mainly acting as a messenger then you are being guilty of shooting that messenger. This is particularly bad as it will discourage messengers in the future. It is also important that others responsible for the message are held to account. 2. If Christopher Hall was part of a board decision then he needs holding to account with the rest of the board members at the time (including our new Chairman). 3. If he was just off-message then good riddance to a bad director. | blobby
25/11/2016 09:56 | Isn't he on record as stating that he didn't much care for private investors? | romeike
25/11/2016 09:55 | Blobby there was a legally binding contract clearly advised in RNSs which Hall cast aside against shareholders interests. Hall helped himself and his mates there is no need to feel sorry for him rather us for the past 2 years. Bless the new CEO and look forward to better days ahead I hope | corguv
25/11/2016 09:48 | corguv, If Christopher Hall's Corporate Update of 22nd December 2014 was just down to him deciding what should be done or he was off message then you are right. But I don't know if it was just him being the messenger. If that is the case then I would rather shareholders be told and have a chance to feedback any appropriate "advice" than for the board to keep it quiet until it is too late to change things. I don't know that Christopher Hall was not actually a bit of a hero on this, communicating a massive blunder in order to get it changed? (However unlikely that might seem to us) Does anyone know the real story? | blobby
25/11/2016 09:47 | .Sorry poor connections and thus repetition | corguv |
