17/11/2016 17:32 | I know nothing and so do you. It's not about what we have been told (we don't know if that's true BTW) but it's about what we've NOT been told. CEO might have been replaced but it's the same old, same old again. I have zero faith in all parties concerned and it looks like the market agrees. This journey has been one great disappointment thus far and it's unlikely to get any better as the guide (who won't tell me) has no idea where he is. | greedfear
17/11/2016 17:15 | gf - to say I know nothing implies that you in fact know something. If you could give me something evidential that contradicts what we have been told by the management about Altintepe I would be all ears. | charles clore
17/11/2016 17:01 | We know NOTHING. NOTHING! | greedfear
17/11/2016 16:58 | You're too good for this world Charles not to say naive. | greedfear
17/11/2016 15:07 | Suspicious of what? Altintepe Madencelik is a jointly owned company that we know has funds flowing into it from the Altintepe gold mine producing between 30-40k oz p.a.. If that mine had stopped producing since the last report we would have been told. What we do know is that both companies want to ensure that the total project and mine closure and exit costs are fully known and incorporated into the mine budget BEFORE sharing out the profits. These costs are no always clearly defined and there may well be a contingency budget for unforeseen events. It takes time for a working mine to calculate average costs and extrapolate for 9 or 10 years down the line. Having said that, once it is done I am confident the company and shareholders alike will be very nicely rewarded. I have a feeling the payouts will be large amounts rather than just dribs and drabs. If that was the case I think they would be drip feeding the jv partners already. | charles clore
17/11/2016 14:47 | I agree. They just dont want to talk about it which makes me very suspicious. £ 460 worth of shares traded in 3 days says it all - everyone is suspicious | juju44
17/11/2016 14:43 | If I can attend juju that's exactly what I'll be asking. The rest is a sideshow | jimbowen30
17/11/2016 14:40 | Yep , last presentation 2 weeks ago did wonders for the share price. If they would just stop the bluff and diversionary waffle and tell us where is our Bahar money we might just get the Share price to move | juju44
17/11/2016 13:45 | Stratex will be at mines and money the week after next. Not sure Marcus, will be there but a good opportunity to talk face to face and give them a grilling if needed! | jimbowen30
16/11/2016 14:44 | romeike - we have to make up our own minds what is acceptable risk. Personally, when the chips are down I would rather be holding something (not all) in my hand that can be used to trade with than having it sat in a vault and not knowing if it will be delivered to my door when I need it (assuming still have a door!). | charles clore
16/11/2016 14:12 | Agreed to an extent but paying for physical to be held is expensive and holding physical at home is not advisable either. A number of ETF/ETC are now based on physical holding of the said commodity and are very cost effective. I like holding miner stocks/funds because you still get growth and possibly even dividends (!) with exposure to the gold price but without being wholly dependent on gold price growth to grow. | romeike
16/11/2016 13:58 | romeike - holding PM miners is the second best hedge against a currency crisis, the first being physical metals. Reason being when the chips are down you know you have the physical in your possession, not so with shares and certainly not with ETFs as they rarely hold all the gold they state in the fund and besides that, it can 'disappear'. | charles clore
16/11/2016 10:26 | I'm not sure about that, the spread is wide so the buy price isn't that attractive based on the last couple of years. | romeike
16/11/2016 10:24 | What's stratex's excuse | steve1905
16/11/2016 10:16 | The excuse being rolled out for gold price being artificially supressed is that it is all India's fault. | romeike
16/11/2016 10:15 | This share has absolutely no correlation with the gold price despite it's only revenue source being sales of gold. It's bizarre. If anyone is holding this as a hedge against crisis, I'd pick up some gold ETF or a precious miner fund as well / instead. | romeike
16/11/2016 09:47 | Please remember it is not a dog, it's a TURKEY! Will this half baked TURKEY ever be fully roasted?! It is looking like baked beans for Christmas again, for all Stratex shareholders!! Harrods hampers all round for the directors? | goldenshare888
16/11/2016 09:23 | Can someone please buy a share to wake the dog up | juju44
16/11/2016 01:31 | Shortarm That makes no sense because if you were really a buyer you'd be buying today. But you didn't. | shoggoth
15/11/2016 19:56 | Rude, ignorant, aggressive? I wouldn't answer the f4ck3r | shortarm
15/11/2016 19:16 | I don't understand how Stratex can justify replying to one shareholder and not another ? I can't. Very poor attitude. | corguv
15/11/2016 14:43 | LOL "BUY when others are fearful" I hear ringing in my ears.............! | goldenshare888
15/11/2016 13:50 | Exbiz, I don't mind you being negative.....If you sell I get cheaper shares so why would I try and convince you anything other than your worst thoughts are possibly true.....Or, possibly not true :-P | shortarm
15/11/2016 13:26 | The trading excitement here is like a graveyard. Is this dog dying ? | juju44 |
