All looks good to me. Nice divi, serious share price support level (last tested in 2011). Look forward to the divi and a nice share price bounce up to 250p over the next few months.

Good looking double bottom formation forming (not confirmed yet of course)

You would imagine that a lot of the short term negatives are already priced in. Dividend yield is now circa 5.7%, which remains attractive despite the economic headwinds.

EPS down (14.4 v 17.0); int div up (3.8 v 3.5); positive statement re future of public transport in UK and US; negative about current trading environment. Not sure what analysts expectations are.

H1 earnings from Stagecoach tomorrow.

It's a complicated business. Perhaps a bit too complicated. There's the continental European bus business, the US bus business, and all the UK train and bus franchises.

But it does look like good value and I'm tempted to buy a few.

The South West Trains franchise is definitely making them a lot of money. The trains get fuller every month, as London property prices force commuters to live further and further out.

I am looking into these shares and quite like them pre results and a possible 2017 recovery stock?

Can anybody assist me with where the company is in regards to the franchise renewals. I believe South west trains is due next year?

7th of December I think. this is from the last trading statement:

"In June 2016, we announced our plan for four scheduled updates each year: results announcements in June and December, and further trading updates around September and March. The next planned update is therefore, the announcement of the Group's interim results for the six months ended 29 October 2016 on 7 December 2016."

Interim results to 31st Oct were published on 9th & 10th December in the last 2 years.

Fresh team of horses now pulling the stagecoach? That would save on fuel.

Actually, fuel was the biggest contributor to the monthly increas in CPI figures out today.
